What is it that EA and Xbox can see, as far as releasing games on Steam, that Ubisoft can't? As you may know, EA is completely reversing course, and they have a far better store/launcher than Ubisoft has.
I agree that you shouldn't have all your eggs in one basket. I'm on Xbox Live, Origin and Steam, as my main PC storefronts, and that doesn't include my Playstation account. I just don't want to have credit card information circulating with an ever increasing number of different stores on PC. Not to mention, that Steam has really good consumer policies.
I know, which is why I have never purchased the new GR. However, I have been a fan of the series since GR on PS2, and I would still give it a go if the price was right, and if I could buy it on Steam, so that I could keep it in my library, along with my other GR games.
European player can now look forward to playing against other players with a 300+ ping...What a development team!
I'm still waiting for Ubisoft to stop with this nonsense. If GR: Break Point were on Steam, and on sale, I would purchase it, since I prefer to keep my purchase history in as few places as possible.
Well, the Series X is going to have a far bigger games library available at launch, on a scale and magnitude that no console has ever had, through backwards compatibility. There was an article within the last couple of days, stating that there will be either 2800 or 3200 games available to Series X gamers at launch. Sony will not be anywhere near that number for a long time, since their focus, as announced, was to have most of the PS4's top 100 games available at launch. PS5 is going to b...
Strikes out again you mean..
Halo: Infinite Will Fail Without A Battle Royale Mode
Said nobody ever....
Man, this guy is the greatest!
It's just like people have been saying all along, "it's all about the games", and I couldn't agree more. Well done Xbox! Now, pardon me while I get back to my PC.
The only way most next gen games will run at 4K/60 on the PS5, is with low - medium PC equivalent settings. It's just the reality of the PS5's hardware. I hope Digital Foundry starts digging further into these types of things, just so console gamers understand how games are optimized to run on certain hardware, and how compromises have to be made, particularly when it comes to running a game at native 4K. I have a feeling though, that Playstation gamers are going to be hearing lots ab...
The CoD4 remaster just didn't have the charm of the original, and I think MW2 would feel the same. They should just port the PC versions of those games, with maximum PC settings, and they would be awesome.
Zeek from Infamous.
Yeah, you know, that data transfer thingy....
Yeah, god forbid they have to work in a fast paced office like many of us regular folk.
This is the worst, when you get beta footage like this, and the person playing doesn't understand how to play video games.
Not if they like playing PS3 first party games online.
PS3 owners didn't have a choice.
Not very good. Xbox 360 is still fully functional, with cross-platform friends lists, chat, messages and gameplay. Not only that, all of the Xbox 360s first party legacy games are still online, and so are many other 3rd party games.
Looks like these will PS5 launch titles.
