I think the problem has more to do with millennials than anything. I see it even in the construction industry, where they come in feeling self entitled, like they don't have to put the hard work in to get somewhere. Of course there are exceptions to the rule, but generally speaking, millennials are the weakest generation in the history of human civilization.

With the new hacking claims in the news lately, I wonder if this has something to do with China...
Andrew Wilson is seriously trying to kill EA's business. I miss the John Riccitiello days, back when they were an exciting company, and where I was always interested to know what was on the horizon.
These days, all EA is known for scam micro-transactions in StarWars games, SJW Battlefield games, and scam micro-transactions in FiFa. There is literally nothing else that comes to mind when I think of EA anymore.
Some people seem to still think that the 'next generation' of consoles, has some sort of secret sauce, that will blow everything out of the water. All you need to do is look at what PC hardware is out currently, and that will tell you what 'next gen' consoles will do. I doubt that the PS5 or the next Xbox will have even the performance of a GTX 1080Ti, due mainly to the cost of the hardware required to hit those kinds of benchmarks.
Well when Nvidia launches the RTX 2080Ti for $1,700.00 (CDN), it's easy to see how console gaming will be around for the long haul. We're just lucky that we have descent and more affordable high performance options like Xbox One X, and to a certain degree, the PS4 PRO. Sure, they aren't an equivalent to the GTX 1080Ti, but for the price point that they sell for, who cares.

The value proposition for the RTX 2080Ti is not sounding all that good at the moment. Ray tracing is cool, but how many developers are going to take advantage of that? I want more raw power so that I can run anything that is currently out at 4k/60fps on ultra settings.
Nvidia needs to focus on nailing any and all current games out on the market, nevermind all future next gen games, which will undoubtedly slip through the cracks with the 4k criteria that most gamers have.
PS5 and Xbox Two should be premium consoles that support 4k/60fps, even if that means that they launch at $600.00 - $800.00. The PS4 Pro and Xbox One X can remain relevant well into next gen, and should be the consoles of choice for people who only care about 4k/30fps half of the time, 4k Checkerboard rendering, and 1080p/60fps as a minimum baseline. I remember paying around $800.00 when the PS3 first launched, and I loved every minute of it, even if the launch line-up was slim. People will p...
The video chat was also a great feature on the PS3. Myself and a number of friends would start up a video chat room once in a while, which was great fun, but it was also good for talking strategy before a clan war.
PlayStation Home was a cool feature, especially when they had proximity chat. The video game themed areas were really neat too, like the Reistance 2 area, Uncharted Drake's Fortune area, and the Socom Confrontation area. I remember people always hanging out ...
If the complaint is that it plays like the previous two games, then I'm not sure what the problem is. There are other reviews scoring this as a 9/10. I love the first two games in the trilogy, and have been surprised to see how divided gamers have been with the latest in the Tomb Raider series. I think some of the negative bias from gamers has to do with the 1 year console exclusivity of the first game on Xbox, which would be a pretty poor reason to hold a grudge if true.
You'd be better off going to a library and reading an actual encyclopedia printed book from decades past. You can't trust info from a Google search or from Wikipedia, since their political bias is changing and erasing history with algorithms and direct editing of information.

Yeah, because they want to avoid getting caught up in that story telling stuff that nobody wants /s
My fine feathered friend, you can speak for yourself.

I'm glad that you were the first to comment, as I was just about to make a similar post.
Cheers!

A rather odd thing to have in the game, but the lead designer obviously wanted it there for some reason....

Ridiculous if true.

I think that it would be young men who seem to have lost their mojo, and in this particular case, it's in favour to a man in spandex.

This doesn't look that great. Graphically it doesn't look much better than PUBG, and by the way, what's up with the movement of the character's arms?

True, we don't want it to get caught up in all of this nonsense.
I'm more concerned with the censoring that Google, Facebook and Twitter are engaged in. These three corporations have way too much power.
