Crysis Warhead should be part of the package, and since these games probably won't have multiplayer, they should do what Sony did with the Uncharted Collection, and just throw all of them into one bundle. While I like Crysis, I hope that Crytek doesn't think that they're going to be able to pull off CoD4 or MW2 remastered numbers, especially with CoD4 having multiplayer included.
Console players always think people who use mouse and keyboard are cheating, so nothing new here. By the way, PC players have been complaining that the auto-aim is so hardcore for people using controllers, that it's almost like using an aim-bot. I've been playing Gears 5 on PC using my Xbox One controller, and I haven't had any issues being up towards the top of the stack every game. As they say, get good!
Nice, I have the ideal specs :D
I wish I had bought a 1080TI back when I had the chance, but I did buy a 2080 Super, just before the virus lockdown, so I'm now invested.
DLSS is going to get real interesting, since it may well extend the life of current RTX cards, far beyond the typical lifespan.
That is true dedication.
Not bad, but not what I expected.
Please do.
Nah, anyone with the slightest computer knowledge understands what performance you're getting with the specifications shown. A less powerful GPU is a less powerful GPU, and that's the bottom line. Additionally, a lower clocked CPU is a lower clocked CPU, you can't get around that. Will it load slightly fater than the Series X?...yes, but it will be loading lower quality assets because the hardware is less powerful.
Cheating on PC games isn't an issue if games are played on a selectable server list, rather than public match making. Usually if there is a cheater in any PC online game, they get kicked by the server administrator fast. However, when its public matchmaking, you lose all control to kick and ban cheaters. It wasn't until the PS3/Xbox 360 generation, that public matchmaking became a thing.
The old Socom servers in Socom 1, 2, 3 & CA were all had selectable server ...
I think many of the comments in this thread are ignorant to the fact that the PS5 is about to be the target of the same kinds of shortcomings for next generation. The main difference will be that the articles will be talking about how the PS5 struggles to play games at native 4K.
When Digital Foundry does an analysis, comparing games on both consoles, the PS5 will have noticeable lower textures, shadow quality and perhaps screen tearing due to no V-Sync, all in an attempt t...
The best one was the first one on the NES.
They should become a major online retailer like Newegg, and add a pick-up counter for online orders in store. They should also adjust prices and get into PC hardware sales. With Reggie on board, maybe they could also form some hardware exclusivity deals with Nintendo (special edition controllers, special edition consoles, special edition game bundles).
Nintendo Switch crossplay is awesome!
If SmartShift is preventing the console from overheating, then that means that it will automatically down-clock both the CPU and GPU at different times when the system is getting hot. This is essentially called 'Throttling', and we know what that means when we're talking about PC performance.
3rd party devs will play it safe, and will most likely develop their games around the lower clock speeds. The boost clock will probably just act as extra headroom, and be used to ensure that each game maintains 60FPS. Not bad, but not great either. I think we're going to see huge differences in textures, shadows and native game resolutions between the two consoles.
Sony will have to make sure to bring the games big time. If they are working on a Socom game, I will most...
There is a reason for Sony being so silent, and it can't be good. Sony had their swagger back for the PS4 generation, and that seems to have left with Shawn Layden. You have to look at what is actually happening right now...Microsoft has released almost every piece of information, including the look of the final console, and the internals of the console, and with PS5, all we've seen is the logo, and the specifications from Mark Cerny.
What we did learn from Mark Cer...
Finally, someone who understands that 2+2=4.
