Nope, Nintendo is here to stay. #dealwithit
I am rather indifferent to them. The last time I purchased an EA game was the original Dragon Age (which was a great game but the second one sucked). As long as I have my Sony, Nintendo, NIS, Atlus, Falcom, Xeed, and Level 5 games I don't need EA.
Nah. 6th gen (Dreamcast, PS2, Xbox, and GameCube) was the best generation of all time. This gen doesn't hold a candle to last gen. Not that this was the worst gen but definitely not the best.
All of a sudden having a console that plays games from other consoles is a bad thing. Meanwhile it's awesome being able to download the games from the XBL marketplace or buying them on an HD collection.
A ticket is not the actual movie, and you cannot watch this movie at home until you actually, you know, buy the movie, and once you buy the movie you are free to lend or sell the copy away whenever you see fit as it is considered your personal property. Are video games the exception simply because they are video games?
I am respectful of the opinion that used games are bad for developers (I even agree to an extent) but this analogy is probably THE worst I've ever read re...
Blu-Ray players don't force always on, CD players don't force always on, MP3 players don't force always on, your computer doesn't force always on, even your smartphone wouldn't become a total paperweight without service. Why should a video game console be always on? Cell phones are always on because phones are designed to communicate (but again smartphones don't become paperweights without service), while a video game console is designed to play games, and the majority...
:o
I simply disagree!
I need to buy a PSN card for this game, and it's on sale for PS+ users too!
Unfortunately BC was just a fad. It was a very nice feature that came and went. Nintendo is currently the only company left that really supports it, and even they abandon it eventually as per GBA, DS, and Wii.
Well I did lose interest in this 7th video games generation until I purchased my 80GB (2USB) PS3 and now own 64 titles for it, not even including my digital purchases/PS+ giveaways. Not playing the stupid fanboy game because all systems have their ups and downs, but for me the PS3 covers my gaming desires and has everything I wanted in a console.
I am an holder of the opinion that all consoles are equally successful this generation, each one of them for different reasons.
So for a game to be good it has to feel like a movie? I am confused at this comment. :S
All in all the PS4 is a fine piece of console with the best of the game industry backing it. I can't wait to see what is in store. Let's hope to see a lot of platformers and jRPGs on this thing, something that was lacking this generation.
Even though I am a console-only gamer, PC is king:
-More exclusives than any console platform
-Cheaper games
-Mod support
-Superior online play
-Emulation
What do PC nazis have to do with this, and how did you get a "Well said" green flag?
I'd consider urban life a nightmare, sorry bro. I lived the urban life in Detroit in the past and that is nothing I'd look back at. If this means getting stuck in the past, at least I now live in a community where major crimes and air pollution are minimal.
My PSVita is offline most of the time, even though it has the 3G feature on it, I stopped paying for the service and it works just fine without it. Don't see why the next Xbox should differ.
I am buying a PS4 and Wii U on the launch day of the 720.
Sony: 1
Nintendo: 1
Microsoft: 0
More "Wii U is doomed" articles next week.
Thanks for speaking for me and my 20-something friends that own a 3DS. I am the only person of my entire social circle that owns a Vita. No joke The Vita deserves more sales, but dang, that was one bitter comment of yours.
It needs a real Call of Duty game from a more competent developer than Nihilistic, Monster Hunter, Elder Scrolls (Skyrim on the go would be heaven), Fallout, Final Fantasy, Battlefield, even Minecraft etc. These games sell like hotcakes.
Also a price drop in both the hardware and the memory cards, and include one in the box. The Vita is a great little system as Sony products are usually top-notch quality, however there is a lot of room for improvement.
