Both look good and both will likely be fun driving games. I'll buy DC but if any of my friends ever get an XOne (my Xbox360 die-hard friends are less than impressed with the XOne) I'll definitely try out the Forza game.
Well MS said the Xbox360 has "the best lineup of games, period" but we all know that is really down to opinion. As for best looking games, we'll see, but I bet my money on the PS4 for that. That being said, the best looking games has little factor into my console buying decisions. I'll get a Wii U and a PS4 based on one important factor: games. Nintendo and Sony are damn good at delivering entertainment from a gaming standpoint.
Oh the big & bad SDF is here to rain on your parade only for the sake of it!
You're just playing victim. The XOne is nothing to be positive about from a gaming standpoint.
Yeah but where else would they get 360 from?
Well a 360 is a full circle, like a 0, while this is 1. If you look it that way it kind of makes sense, well, kind of. Name aside the actual system is very disappointing. The Wii U and PS4 are way more desirable to me now, and I think I am buying a PS4 day one, and also buy the Wii U along with it on the same purchase. Never bought two systems at once before, might give that a try. Double the excitement.
MS may have given up on the games industry, at least we still have Nintendo, Sony, and Valve. MS tried killing off PC gaming, but failed, and they are attempting the same for console gaming.
Go on any other website, even Xbox websites, you'll find people less than impressed with the XOne. It's not all the big and bad SDF raining on your parade for the sake of it.
The console thus far isn't anything being excited for when you have:
-24 hour offline play
-Paid online play
-Emphasis on TV entertainment
-Anti-used games technologies
Believe me, I wanted an XOne, but this ruined it for me leaving me...
Sorry but Wii U is here to stay. Xbox One might have to go if everyone is buying PS4s instead of XOnes. Sony has much better chance with this this generation than they did the last. PS3 had poor reception by the media, and developers, but this time everything is looking to be the opposite. Developers are praising the PS4, Sony has gotten aggressive with their AD campaign, Sony stocks rising while MS stocks are dropping, gamers are more excited for PS4, while XboxOne is getting slammed across ...
Emphasis on TV entertainment rather than gaming, which if I remembered correctly Xbox was a gaming brand first and foremost. Instead of marketing this "console" to gamers they are now targeting consumer demographics that had little background in gaming apart from having played Super Mario Bros. on the regular Nintendo back in the day.
-Anti used games
-24 hour offline play
-Paid online
-Emphasis on TV entertainment
Why excited?
It has no chance against Wii U or the PS4 with all this:
-Anti used games
-24 hour offline
-Paid online
-Emphasis on TV entertainment
Neither Wii U or PS4 has ANY of this.
I really wanted an XOne, but my interest in this thing fell like a house of cards with all of this combined:
-Anti used games
-24 hour offline mode
-Paid online mode
-Focus primarily on TV entertainment
The huge ugly box, lesser specs than PS4, and the choice name are all trivial when you have the other baggage listed above.
And me, I am saving hundreds of dollars by not buying one.
PS4 for me, that and Wii U.
The Wii U will be extremely weak compared to the specs on the XOne. That being said, at least the Wii U is an actual console, while this XOne is a TV box that happens to play games as a secondary function.
"Xbox One"
"Which one are you talking about? The first one or the new one?"
Very bad choice name.
MS shareholders.
The Wii U deserves more credit than it has gotten by certain "gamers" on the Internet. It may not be "next-gen" (whatever that really means) but at least it doesn't have any of the baggage of the XOne:
-Anti used games
-Emphasis on TV rather than gaming
-24 hour offline mode
-Paid online mode
I want to buy an XOne, but MS just can't seem to get it.
Not for me, maybe for others. Not interested in a cable box when I already have one...
I don't think MS would do that. Not that it would surprise anyone, but chances are unlikely.
24-hour offline mode and anti-used games were much more likely than this.
