Don't even bother. 1080p is good enough for this generation, but nothing less. Last gen very few games had 1080p and many had sub HD.
4K is overkill, especially when you will have a insignificant amount of people owning 4KTVs for many years to come. Don't waste thousands of dollars on developing nothing important in your game kthx.
Actually with the PSP you need to factor in firmware hacks. A lot of people bought PSPs to play their SNES roms, and they also pirate their PSP games. Because of this, PSP is one of the most pirated gaming platforms of all time.
PSP wasn't successful at all outside Sony's backyard. The handheld market is monopolized by Nintendo.
I am a die-hard for jRPGs, I'll keep an eye out for this.
I voted with my wallet. I bought DS 1&2, but not the third, and never will buy it either. The first was great, the second was good.
I am considering getting into PC gaming and play online there. That way there would be less chances of running into 8-year old kids that swear more than every adult gamer I know...
To most console only gamers, graphics matter only on console, while irrelevant on PC. They bash the Wii U for being "last gen" and then turn around and bash the most powerful and flexible gaming platform of all time for "costing 6K every 6 months and worrying about constant upgrades LOLZ!!!1"
Hypocrisy at it's finest, only in the wonderful world of video games!

IMO Generations and Colors are the only good home console Sonic games this gen. I also liked the DS Sonic games.
Yeah they do learn from their mistakes, then make new ones just as bad if not worse.
Just because it is on a PS doesn't necessarily mean reviewers will intentionally keep the score lower. There are many games on PS that received high scores, Uncharted 2 and 3 came to mind. Demon's Souls is another, so is LBP Vita, etc. Uncharted Vita also received some good scores, but because of the game's many flaws it wasn't favored with boatloads of 9+ scores, but the game was still well received nonetheless for a spinoff. Zelda Skyward Sword had some controversy from Game...
It's very unfortunate for Nintendo. The only good is region free gaming, which is something Nintendo should've provided. They didn't learn from Operation Rainfall. That being said this is bad for Nintendo and gaming.

Definitely, I bought my 3DS when they dropped the price and soon getting a Wii U when more good games get released, and maybe even a price drop but not really expecting one unless Sony/MS prices their more powerful hardware similarly to the Wii U.
Nontheless, it is good to see Nintendo beginning to wake up, well, hopefully anyway..
