Name me one game that doesn't have problems at launch.
I enjoyed the mp very much. The servers are laggy and there are glitches her and there but what do you expect for a newly released game? Bad Company 2 had server problems for 3 months after launch. That's what patches are for.
The only thing that does bother me is the freeze time before everyone can go run around killing each other at the start of every session. If the server is empty that would be annoying since we have to for other players to join. In BC2 I used empty s...
@Vortex3D
If you want to play "realistic", play Arma 2 muliplayer. Sure you re spawn after several seconds but in some server you have a limit to how many time you can re spawn. The most realistic/annoying thing is that you respawned at your base (no squad spawning)...which is usually tens of miles away from the nearest action and would take minutes to get there, that if you're not killed by random enemy along the way there. Yeah there are vehicles at the base b...
The author's talking about MSG 4, when Snake is a disgruntled old man.
Matt Damon could be the younger Snake in the earlier MSG series.
The question is asking for the obvious. Of course they will. What else do you think they'll do? What's the use of an MMO style item auction system if there aren't any new contents available? They can't depend solely on game-generated items to keep the players happy and they've banned mods.
No Mods + Blizzard owned Item Auction System = DLCs
I'm still waiting for my copy to arrive. I do know it's in a city just 3 hours from my little town....can't wait to say hi to the hackers.
Fighting a rat? A tease on a possible (secret) Frosbite 2.0 based RPG perhaps?
He's talking about the experience and demands gamers (console and PC gamers alike)want from the game. He never said anything about hardware or software differences between the platforms.
I'm not defending him, though. He's just baiting for something.
I've left that shameful dark side of my life. Now, I'm an ordinary law abiding citizen who commits genocide on a planetary scale online every night.
No wonder there was a sense of confusion at the back of my mind mind when I glanced briefly at the title's title.
You're right. I never heard of Destruction 3.0 ever said by anyone from DICE. Unless...I'm confused about that too...
LoL. I've read mostly the comment sections first than actually reading the reviews. They are much more interesting since they represent a lot of views compared to the single author's view for a single review.
Remember how the console gamers tend to say that great graphic is not important, fun gameplay does? They usually have been saying this since Battlefield 3 have been announced and any other games that have a better looking version on the PC.
Well...
I've just read the comments in the "UC3's Graphical Leap is Incredible - Comparison" article. I could've sworn the posters are PC gamers gushing over the latest hardware breaking PC game. I kn...
Had they add China as a third faction like in BF2, then we would've seen F-22s in BF3. China is the most active nation looking around for ways to kill the F-22 Raptors, for some mysterious reason.
F-18s VS Su-35s? I don't know....
Coincidentally, haters gonna love what the lovers hate. Lovers gonna hate what haters love.
I thought everyone knew about this months ago? It was a big controversy right the before the Physical Pack DLC overshadowed it. Why are they grumbling about this again? Especially with Battlefield 3 just around the corner.
Origin is being referred to as “the gaming industry’s first commercial spyware“
Sooo...what is Valve doing with Steam (or any other rival clients) then? I do believe that Steam occasionally show hardware data to the press.
...
First they said superior graphic on the PC version (of any game) doesn't equate to "fun" gameplay.
Now, the consoles are going to have HD textures for a superior graphical experience.
I don't see anyone saying bad things about that.
My android phone rang out an alarm for some reason yesterday morning. I took a glance.
It was a reminder that I've set up 2 months ago:
Battlefield 3.
It's all about immersion. Yes some of the effects may be superficial but it is pretty big deal for the guys who have spent years coding them into their games. Like the guys in Pixar or Dreamworks animation studios, they spent years making mindblowing effects so I'm sure they would appreciate the movie goers would notice the nice little touches they've added, even if the effect lasted for a few second.
In Crysis, I spent the so much time in the village where we'...
I tried to order a Saitek RAT 7 mouse several years back from a local online store. I waited for two months for something that usually take less one. The store emailed me that their supplier was unable to acquire the mouse. They gave back my money.
A month later CoD MW2 came out and there was a lot of official gaming devices along with it. One, to my surprise, was the exact mouse I tried to order. My shop has it but it's twice the price as the original Saitek mouse.
There's A LOT OF apartments and doors ind Deus EX HR but I'm allowed to open 2-3 pre-designated ones per apartment building even with my hacking skills maxed out. Plus, augmented people there seems to lost the art of lock picking or crushing chains and pad locks. Reviewers still praise the game highly.
So, a single unopenable door in BF 3 is still considered not a total failure.
