Other than the game of the day, Transformers, it is an XBOX 360 Gold Box Deals Day. I was hoping to snag RDR at a good price for the PS3, but I don't think they'll offer a deal on anything other than the 360 version.
If XBOX LIVE is as closed as Iwata, or whatever the Square Enix douche-face's name is, said, I doubt Microsoft would allow Activision to bring subscription-based gaming to the platform unless they are given a good chunk of the money pie.
You make an extremely valid point. My buddy Mike and I have been talking for years about wanting to see a Suda directed, Kojima produced Snatcher. At first, the third entry description made me think Zone of the Enders 3, but your emphasis on "conceptual science series" and associating that with Snatcher and Policenauts gave me a moment's hope that my dream will finally come to fruition.
Alex Garland wrote it? Ninja Theory + Andy Serkis + Alex Garland + hot redheaded slag sounds like the makings of a great game to me.
I thought a captain was supposed to go down with his ship? This doesn't bode well to me, that is, if it is an indication of his lack of faith in his own project. Didn't look very good, especially in such an oversaturated FPS market.
Thank God for Halo and Killzone. :D This plus the fact Activision doesn't have a single game that interests me makes boycotting the company that much easier.
Sadly, there will be plenty of suckers desperate enough to pay for the subscription.
It's really sad when fanboys are so desperate to find fault that they'd have to stretch THIS FAR to troll an article only remotely linked to "competition."
I understand the decision to scrap the production of this car, considering the cost. Much too risky in this global climate, especially if the price tag is over 1 million Euros. Oh well, at least us GT'ers will be able to drive the virtual version of a car none of us could afford anyway.
It's known most 3D games will be running 720p on PS3, especially those being patched to support 3D. However, what does this mean for GT5 in 3D? Will it be 1080p in 3D or will it be 1080p standard and 720p 3D? I've heard/read nothing about what GT5 will deliver in this department.
Because they can't resist buying the Call of Duty brand! <rimshot>
*crowd jeers, throwing rotten tomatoes at me*
What part of that is confusing? If you read the comment section, Arne says they are aiming for unlimited grenades. I don't see how Explosive Expert will help.
Maybe ND will have the foresight to plan for that and make boosters inactive? Don't bother with Explosive Expert as grenades will be infinite in supply. Also, don't you think Sure Foot is a better idea?
You could check naughtydog.com every once in awhile. Also, this article was posted a week ago.
Pistols-Only Plunder was enjoyable. Very happy I finally got my "You Run, I'll Shoot" trophy and don't have to worry about it again.
I didn't experience any problems with Trine, but I'm glad Frozenbyte delivered a patch. I was hoping it included the DLC and 3D patch, but maybe we'll still get it eventually.
I was going to sleep soon, but if this deal turns out to be true, I'll have to jump on it as soon as it hits noon. Too good a deal to pass up.
I guess people are forgetting EA released a 6 part digital comic as a prequel to Dead Space before the game released. This interactive comic will offer the same prequel type of experience, plus added unlockable content like a suit. Mind you, it's completely optional and won't take away from the story or experience of DS2, which these events will most likely be revealed piece meal throughout the game. So why the bitching?
Forever I will miss and mourn the loss of the king of the JRPG.
Didn't even think about Dragon Quest "X"! Or it could be "X"enogears related?
I'd like to smash Elvira. :D
But it doesn't work like that. Companies sell their games cheap to retail and retail makes profit from price mark-ups. The money is split among the developer, the publisher and I believe the platform holder (Microsoft, Sony, Nintendo), which in this case the publisher and platform holder are the same. I'm guessing Remedy gets between $15-30 a game? I remember reading that most projects need to sell at least 1 million to break even, AAA projects needing to sell 2 million, and RDR, ...
The Wii is an unstoppable beast. :P
