Wii will continue to lead, PS3 will only increase when they drop the price, but if the 360 can keep undercutting the PS3's price the PS3 will never catch up to the 360, and the 360 will never catch up to the Wii. The problem with the Wii's dominance is that Sony and Microsoft may try to copy them with their next system- and as a hardcore gamer, I don't want to have to give up games like Modern Warfare 2 and Final Fantasy 13 to play super mega motion sports spectacular 10.
What does "used" mean when your talking about an optical media disc (DVD, BLU-Ray, UMD)? If a copy is "gutted" to use the case for display, but the disc is never played, is it used? If a Gamestop employee checks out a game, but returns it in mint condition, is it used? Shopped at Gamestop probably realizes that the game cases on display are empty. The discs are removed to combat shoplifting, and only the case is displayed. So are those games now used because the disc had to be taken out of the case to keep people from stealing it? People seem to think that Multi-plat titles don't matter, but big games like COD: Modern Warfare 2, Tiger Woods 2010, Madden 2010, Resident Evil 5, etc. are almost POSTIVE to sell more copies on the 360. A lot of multiplat games still look and run better on 360, and some (like GTA 4, Fallout 3 and Tomb Raider: Underworld) have exclusive dlc for the 360 version. Was a launch title for the 360, and one of the best snowboarding games ever made, in my opinion. Impossible to find now, glad I kept mine!
That you have a week to return it, for any reason, for a full refund. That way you can try out games like Lair and Haze and when they DO suck as much as you've heard, you can return them for, say, MGS4 or something worthwhile. I also love how people say "wow, games are cheaper on the Wii," but you are paying 50 bucks for a game that would be on PSN or LIVE for $10!
Thats when the Wii will finally drop in price, and the 360 will drop in price again as well. Sony can't cut the price to where it needs to be- they are losing too much money on every PS3 sold. Nintendo, on the other hand, has ALWAYS made money on every Wii sold, and the 360 went from breaking even to making a little money on every system sold.
