Killzone 2/3 is a really good looking console game. But you do realize BF3 on pc blows them out of the water? The graphics there aren't over hyped.
Have you seen the pc requirements yet. It puts crysis 1 to shame. My ati 5770 will only get minimum specs, and this is a gpu that usually gets max settings, even with Witcher 2.
I'm not complaining, people who spend 500-1000 dollars on gpu's should have something to show for it. But a lot of pc gamers will not see max settings on this game.
I can get max on most games with a ati 5660, on this game I get min. I guess games aren't pushing graphics like this one.
Sony had shares in square, but not in Enix. I'm not sure how that translates with the merge of the two companies.
I do know SE and Sony have been butting heads this generation. Of all things it is all over Sony not wanting FF11 on the PS3, so SE retaliated by making 360 exclusives..... but the consumers had already bought PS3's for SE games (that's where the games were going until SE got mad), so SE games have not sold well this generation.

This build is a bit of overkill, and definitely not the best build for someone wants to save money.
As far as pc gaming goes go AMD quad core. Most people don't even need/use the extra horse power of the pricey i7's.
these are the most obviously better on pc then consoles. I think they got the tittle wrong.
Any ps2 game is still too new to be remade.
This isn't intended to knock FF X since I will be buying it any which way.
FF X is arguably better then FF7 anyway. I'd take any FF remake for the ps3 and I'm glad it is 10.

I'm glad ms is finally going to support pc gaming again. I just wish you could get this on windows 7. I don't want my desktop to look like a giant phone, and that is what windows 8 is going to be.

Top Namco execs need to stop being timid and actually take a risk that could be very successful.
I'm happy with Windows 7. It is going to take a lot to upgrade to windows 8 this soon. The xbox features seem cool, but not cool enough.... Windows 8 seems more like Windows 7 with a couple of new features so far.

Before I read that comment, I was going to say the PS3 still has awesome graphics and this article is flame-bate. I think most people are already intelligent enough to know that the pc is always going to be more powerful then consoles but that doesn't mean that consoles are dated.

But netflix started off with a to good to be true model. If Netflix streaming is going to continue to develop they are going to have to continue doing things that are going to annoy consumers just to break even.
It is almost like games are still in beta when they are first released nowadays. I'm sure Dead Island will be fine after a few patches.
This is common amongst games, I think Dead Island is getting too much scorn for it. It's type is always riddled with bugs Fallout 3 and New Vegas anyone?
multi platform won't be the end for SE, games ending up in poorer quality will. FF13 lacked towns and NPC's and shopping was done at save points. No doubt a aspect of FF13 was missing.
FFvs13 needs to keep the world map and towns, if they are taken out on account of going multi platform and if the game gets chopped down instead of done right then SE will have yet another mistake on their hands and will tarnish their FF image even further.
