Monopoly money doesn't count in poker because it can't be used in the real world.
first the obvious one.
Skyrim > Oblivion

COD4 was good but activision is doing what they do best; tarnishing the name. COD4, fun for a little while, never was the best game this generation. Hell no.
Mass Effect 2 > Mass Effect 1,
Mass Effect 1 has the better rpg features..... Elder Scroll games have better rpg features then Mass Effect 1.
Here's the one the has gamers at each others throat.

I hear what you are getting at, but Bethesda has a very unique feel to it in world interaction. I couldn't imagine Elder Scrolls any other way and don't play it for a main story, but rather to do whatever I want.
I enjoy story driven rpg's too, that's why I play Witcher 2. But what Bethesda dishes up is even more epic. If it made strides to appeal to action gamers (see FF13) or anything else for that matter, it would no longer be a Elder Scrolls game. Maybe yo...
rpg's aren't for everybody.... If Elder Scrolls was more story driven or action orientated then it would target a different audience; I'm glad it is more geared towards gamers like me while others enjoy Assassin's Creed.
Leave Lydia alone. She's saved my ass a few times.
@John
this article is dated for tomorrow, is that when the patch is out for Skyrim?
I'm not finding patch 1.2 anywhere.
@ above, In a comparison to other Bethesda games it doesn't have nearly as much content. Don't get me wrong, I loved Fallout 3 and that is why I wanted more.... Overall, I was disappointing in how they handled dlc and felt it should have been part of the game to begin with.
Just look at Morrowind with Blood Moon, or Oblivion with Shivering Islands then compare what Fallout 3 had.
I know I'm being critical, I loved the fallout series..... But Beth...
It will need to feel more like a finished product. Fallout 3 was a very interesting concept and fun while it lasted, but in the end you were left with... This is it, and what a crappy ending!?
Skyrim feels much bigger then fallout 3 even if you include all the dlc.
New Vegas was an interesting concept and the world felt less limited, more side quests and factions were a plus. But the story lacked in this one and the intrigue of a nuclear waste got lost. Over...
1. Better Interface
absolutely, it could use a overhaul. Especially on a pc. The favorite list config. is annoying.
2. More options with the 3rd person camera
I'm not sure if the camera is the problem. It is a huge improvement.... Still 3rd person fighting is a little hard, for this it could use a auto lock on a target maybe...
3. Follow the arrow when you get a critical/sneak kill
meh, not a top priority for me. Too much cutscenes...
Uncharted 3 was also considered rpg game of the year ahead of skyrim and zelda. Ultimately they decided on another ps3 exclusive since that had the most similarities with U3.
Not much love for Skyrim at all.
MRMagoo123
fair point.. But, BlmThug might be purchasing his first rig.
The only thing I'm getting out of these dissagree's is that people wish Skyrim was console exclusive / pc gaming was dead or something to that effect.
What is wrong with getting a rig to game on? I prefer it.
people keep forgetting how bad the series has gotten and keep buying it for some reason.. Why? I will never know.
Don't worry. I'll give you guys some agrees.
A good rig is a good thing if you are a true gammer even if you own consoles.
They better address this problem in a patch, I can't believe they released this game without making sure the dual wield shields option was available.
Another fix, related to frame rate drops.....
I actually found out my mouse lagged for this game. I'm thinking this is a more common problem then people realize, people blame frame rate drops when its really mouse stuttering.
Found a fix here,
www.youtube.com/watch?v=uaAu4 tF_X7I&feature=related
I went form med to ultra settings with this fix.
Keep the government out of it, especially since you aren't experiencing any major problems, the government has no business to meddle in every single affair that bothers someone. If they did we wouldn't be able to accomplish a single thing in the free market.
Bethesda always releases patches for their games... Just be patient.
@Laxman
That is a lot easier to say the newer you are to gaming.,, I've been around since the NES days, and until recently jrpg's were the only rpg's (minus Dungeons and Dragons, but that wasn't really a big video game), when the ps1 came out they were huge, FF was like CoD during those days.
I get why people like Morrowind better. But Oblivion is not a massive let down. Bethesda simply doesn't make bad rpg's. Morrowind, Oblivion, Skyrim, Fallout 3, New Vegas.. Every last one is a very good game.
Are most people are idiots then?
I don't know very many people that played elder scrolls 1 or 2. Wrpg's weren't even cool until Oblivion came along so the people that started with Morrowind are usually considered more hardcore rpg fans...
I know there have been some slight performance issues that needed to be tweaked or modded to run on ultra settings. I'm looking forward to the patch in a few days just like everyone else.
But this is the first I've heard of the 10FPS issue. You have 14 agree so I assume it is a widespread issue?
