AMD quad core processors are also very gamer friendly, and very good processors in general. Don't let the fact that Intel i7's beat out amd's Phenom's deter people from getting a gaming pc they can actually afford.
For just 60 bucks you can play what was cut out of the original.
Square Enix just doesn't get it... Its too bad, Final Fantasy used to be one of my favorite series.
"Not everyone can afford a $2000 PC."
If you think you need to pay 2000$ for a gaming pc then you don't know jack about modern pc's!
The problem with MS is that they are giving PS3 owners little to envy as of late. This is the complete opposite from a few years ago.
It has been a very interesting console war, the PS3 may have a come from behind victory... This has never happened before.
@BeOneWithTheGun
Get the pc version if you want the best version. The 360 and PS3 are usually basically the same.
jrpg's simply need to return to their roots and return to the playstation brand!
The trying to be western approach won't work. We have elder scrolls and Mass Effect for that.
Jrpg's.... please quit being stupid this generation!
They're both graphical beasts on pc's. It's very nice to see the pc finally getting some love now too.
I thought Triss Merigold from Witcher 2 should be included.
@Max_Dissatisfaction
Not to defend Warprincess116. But...
Naughty Dog did not make any of the games you mentioned. Some developers are better then others, Naughty Dog is up there.
There are SOME PS3 owners that think "the cell processor" has this magical power to unlock graphic capabilities that match even the most high tech computers in the world. If for some reason the graphics aren't matching high end pc's then they blame the developers for not understanding the cell.
Like Dice stated, "they don't understand what a modern PC is capable of".
@Elwenil
PC's don't need to be replaced every year. If you absolutely need the most cutting edge pc or a mac then you will be spending a lot of money. But for gaming purposes a 3 core processor is the magical number. So a AMD quad core for about 150 - 200 bucks will last you a long time. Personally I think the i7's are overkill. Additionally, graphics cards can be upgraded separately, and in all honesty you shouldn't need to upgrade them every time a new graph...
Anyone that believes that it costs 2000 dollars to have a gaming pc is ignorant.
Some of you are sounding ridiculous; PS3 owners on here are acting like the PC gamers are the ones putting down the PS3 version, not true. All they are saying is it doesn't cost 2000 dollars to have a gaming PC. A 700 dollar gaming PC is very realistic, I only paid 500 for my build and it runs most games on very high.
I'm tired of seeing that obviously ripped off mask from "V for Vendetta". Stealing software from the PS3 and ideas from movies.
this is just a bestsellers list. All theses games have different release dates. This is a bad way to see what e3 game is the most anticipated since sales fluctuate and peak for what ever game is released first.
The PC version of Witcher 2 will always be the best, the graphics are that good.
People are being babies. So what if developers actually want to make money for their hard work.
New Game Plus is actually common in rpg's. Usually when you complete the game and can start again on a harder mode.
The big question is will SE learn from their previous mistakes on ff13 and include more exploration and towns with actual stores.... like in Sykrim, yeah I went there.
"It's all PC stuff."
Wow! The pc can show off mind blowing graphics from Witcher 2 and Battlefield 3 with the likes we have never seen before. Yet the pc just can't get any respect around here.
2.9GHz Quad-Core
Radeon HD 6550D GPU
for 135 bucks.
Not a bad deal especially for casual pc owners, but a lot of people will still want to use graphics cards.
