MS wanted to force more people into buying the xbox. I guess they forgot there is a reason that pc gamers are pc gamers.... I'm glad they now realize all they were doing is alienating a crowd that could make them more money.
FF13 was enjoyable, but overall a let down from the series... It deserved its criticism, and look SE is bringing back towns and mini games.
I'm secretly excited about this game.
SE did leave out too much from the series in 13-1 so I'll keep that on the dl until I know FF13-2 will feel like a finished product this time around.

Just the same as a console gamer, you put a certain budget into it. With a console you can buy a new game, or whatever new controller, or device extension with whatever amount of money you want to spend. If you want to buy a game once per week you'll spend a lot more then thousands of dollars.
As a pc gamer the same is true. A gpu can last a long time. If you buy a gpu at the beginning of a console cycle you will...
I'm willing to bet most pc gamers have only purchased 1-2 gpu's in their lifetime.
It's interesting since some people will make you believe we need to buy a new gpu every year.
Building a gaming PC isn't that expensive.... The real problem is that there are so many tech-tards out there that couldn't figure out what to do with a gpu if it was given to them for free.
But for people that are more tech-savy; of course pc gaming is by far the best experience and they know how to do it under their budget.
The "you need $2000 to game on a pc" is just a haters argument that is 100% false.

No it's not piracy, Wii codes have been made public (not cracked or hacked), Dolphin is an open source emulator that has been made possible by Wii developers. Playing your Wii games on a pc is perfectly legal.
There are even rumors MS is going to do the same sort of thing with xbox games.
They're working on it for the PS3. It's in the works IT WILL BE DONE.
The PC and 360 version are working flawlessly with "patch 1.3".

A long time favorite series of mine that I thought dead in a long time favorite genre that I thought dead.
A pc exclusive rts... It's about time!!!! I'll give EA credit for setting this up, it is going to be interesting to see how Bioware revitalizes this once classic series.

Skyrim is running flawlessly on my P.C.
That bug will only last about 1 week (caused by patch 1.2), it's been fixed on the pc already.

Developers always do this... Its all about the money. Yes the FPS craze has produced some games that lack creativity, but this isn't always true. The Final Fantasy craze(FF7 - FF10) produced some solid rpg's. For example, the legend of dragoon was only produced by Sony to dip into the Final Fantasy market and turned out to be a very solid game.
I feel a little more optimistic a TES craze, and at least there will be one less FPS game made for the sake of making money. ...

This announcement sure brought out the haters... This is a good strategy by MS who owns the right to do what they want with Alan Wake...... They are choosing not to alienate the pc crowd,
