I didn't expect it to last long, but just the fact that it made it to the top of the charts in Japan when they aren't big fans of FPS games is a huge feat.
And then you all can make out.
It's pathetic how many of you have taken a shot at this guy's weight. Very childish and doesn't make you any better of a person than he is.
It's always amusing to see Sony drones call the kettle black. Furthermore, I'm a Halo fan and I'm still looking forward to games like COD4, UT3 and Haze. I don't even have a PS3 and probably won't for quite some time. In any case, I'm not worried about these games being "Halo killers" because Halo stands on its own. COD and UT play completely different from Halo. It's a matter of preference. To say one's better than the other is dumb.
Who cares? It's not stopping millions from enjoying it. I don't think being a douche is paying off for you.
See 22.
I see a lot of you saying that it's not a glitch, the person sucks or that it's latency. But it's none of those things. This glitch doesn't happen frequently, either. It hasn't even happened to me yet, but it happened to my buddy while trying to snipe a guy on three separate occasions in a single match. He has the replay to prove it. Said friend doesn't suck, either. Neither of us do. We're not the greatest Halo players, but we far from suck. We know a headshot when we see one. If this was a ...
I understand what you're saying, but I think what you're describing is intentional. I'm sure you're talking about those shields on Snowbound. If your body is half-way through a shield while you throw a grenade and you're not far in enough, your throwing arm will still be behind the shield and your nade will not pass through the shield in result. I believe it functions the same with a plasma/spiker stuck to you.
Then again, I could be completely wrong.
As a huge FPS nut and an avid Halo fan, I hope Haze does for PS3 what Halo did for Xbox as far as console FPS games are concerned. I'm not looking for Haze to be a so-called Halo killer, for Halo is a great franchise and has its own legs to stand on. But ever since GoldenEye, Perfect Dark and Halo, I've always compared console FPS to the fun-factor of those games. So I hope Haze takes console FPS games in a new direction, as the three aforementioned games have, in both single and multi-player...
It IS a legitimate issue. A friend and I play Halo 3 religiously and this has occurred more than once for my friend in a single game against one particular player. He thought the player in question was cheating at first. Apparently the glitch is rare and what happens is you can get a headshot on someone and it doesn't register at all. No shield depletion, no death, nothing. Even though it's a rare occurrence, it can still tip the scale of a match and should be fixed. It has nothing to do with...
Umm... gangs have been around long before video games were invented. They just like to blame anything they can other than failing parents. They've done it to Rock & Roll, comics, movies, dancing, etc.
Killzone 1 sucked. What makes you so sure Killzone 2 won't? Oh, that's right, you're a fangirl. It sounds to me like you're basing your opinion on graphics alone, which doesn't mean anything. It kind of sucks playing a potentially sweet sequel when A) you haven't played the first one, or B) the first one sucks. It very well could be a sweet game, but don't tell me what it is or isn't when you don't even know. As far as console FPS go, N64 started the faith with GoldenEye and Perfect Dark, whi...
I can't believe how stupid a lot of you are, arguing over something as moronic as this. Do you enjoy being hypocritical little twats? I read these trashy comments and wonder, is there hope for society or has the internet shed light on what society really has to offer? And to think, someday you'll grow up and have kids just as stupid as you. Sh!t creating sh!t. I never understood the point of console wars. As I see it, Sony and Microsoft have pumped out some great games on their respective con...
Don't forget Killer Instinct.
I had a rough childhood and was one of those problem childs. My mother was hard on me and I'm all the better for it. It's called tough love. Many of you won't understand it and will just see it as a mother snitching on her son. Do you really think a slap on the hand will change this kid? Forcing him to return the stolen goods and grounding him isn't going to solve anything. The son needs a wake up call. If this doesn't give him one, then he's an even bigger moron.
Speaking of shortsighted. :P
Bad parenting isn't limited to America. The internet and online gaming is a good indication of that.
Don't forget that the RE1 remake was also exclusive to GC.
It makes Halo 3 look bad in the bad scheme of things? Keep dreaming. It's a laughable story at best considering Halo is a trilogy (keyword: 3) and it's being compared to franchises with 5+ titles. Hey, if you Sony drones can use the excuse that 360 is ahead of PS3 because it was released earlier, then the Xbots can use it here as well. Regardless, Halo is a great series. It's a shame a lot of the haters are too blinded by their fanboyism to see it.
Who really cares, other than a jealous fanboy kiddie that likes to crap on everyone else's fun, about who outsold what? It's a game. Play it or don't. Enjoy it or don't. Only kiddies waste their time arguing about stuff like this on the internet, where your opinion doesn't even matter.
This whole article was obviously written by a fanboy. If you want to nitpick bold statements, how about that one Sony made about PS3 being able to do 120fps @ 1080? And yet it doesn't. Far from. ...
Does spewing garbage like that make you feel better about your existence?
