get the Lair of the Shadow Broker DLC, ties in with the story perfectly. I'm downloading arrival now, so can't speak for that yet

Ok, guess I won't be studying much tomorrow :)

Large amounts of RAM creates certain bottlenecks as well. It takes longer to charge RAM modules if their capacity is bigger, which would actually make the console slower, as it takes longer to retrieve data from them.

4 Gigabytes should already get us a long way for a console.

Ps4 is overdue already, 10 year lifecycle is including the overlapping.

I say E3.

Lol, isn't this the guy that was full of **** a while ago, when he claimed to have cracked the new firmware, with people like KaRakators or whatever his name is laughing that he actually believed himself?

One of the bad things the internet has done.. Everyone knows about everything, and suddenly everything that was acceptable before has become incredibly offensive.

I completely agree with you.

lmao, now they're just teasing us

Lol, props to the donators for paying his holiday :P Isn't it a bit funny that Geohot claims on his blog that he's in South America, and that his lawyer says he isn't?

Look at lens of truth and make your own conclusions. Whether or not IGN is biased is not something I'm going to involve myself in, I'm just saying that in this particular case, the reviewer is plain simply wrong.

I quite agree with you, in fact I'm in the same boat. Have been playing the more recent games on PC instead of consoles because of the increasingly large gap between them.

Probably will, but it won't be due to the same type of audience. Expect attach rates to go down.

Go to the store and find out, 99% chance that this won't affect any consumer at all, due to the number of playstations in the pipeline.

What I mean when I say disrespectful, I'm not talking about disrespectful to the games industry. I find that talking about product shortages is disrespectful to the people and families in Japan.

I feel this type of news is rather disrespectful, but maybe that's just me.

@PLB

I think you need to go back and do your research.

1) Strictly speaking, even if its scripted, everything in Killzone 3 and Crysis 2 is real-time
2) Crysis 2 does just as much in Real-Time (from your definition of the word) as Killzone 3 does, no more and no less.
3) Going by your definition of real-time, no game does much at all in real-time, 90% of the graphics are smoke & mirrors.

Though any large corporation such as Sony will need a legal team to counter otherwise much higher legal costs, so they'd have to fire 4 other developers ;)

5456d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

Didn't this guy say that he was Ok with the way it was now? If it's not for piracy, why bother jailbreaking new firmwares?

5457d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

Sony has their own legal team that they pay regardless of a lawsuit. These things aren't costing them any extra money.

5457d ago 3 agree1 disagreeView comment

I'm looking forward to new information, and perhaps a first trailer of this new project. They've been teasing it since last year's release of Heavy Rain, so E3 would seem appropriate.

Articles such as this one always happen to have that, I wonder why...
