Well said man. Spencer already outlined this prior, and somehow people are shocked about it. I see only advantages for MOST (can't please everyone) people in having a shared OS and account across multiple MS devices.
I don't have a gaming PC, nor do I have the desire to invest in one. I'm still going to buy this game. The only people this might be bad for, is for the small percentage of people who both PC game and own Xbox One, because basically, it seems that Microsoft is trying to turn the One into a low powered gaming PC, which I, and most likely many others, have absolutely no problem with. For those people, it may turn the Xbox into a redundant device, but in the long run, it's good for b...

The question is, does Microsoft care? If you're still buying one of their published games, on a Windows 10 exclusive environment, are they not still making money? People choose to play consoles for many different reasons. They might not have the money, or know-how or desire to build a decent gaming PC. They might want to play with their friends, or enjoy the simplicity of turning on the console and being able to play without fucking with drivers and settings. ...
It doesn't seem to me that people are grasping the fact that not everyone wants to, nor has the money or knowledge available to build a gaming PC. What does it matter if some of these games are going to PC? If Microsoft is publishing, they're still profiting from sales, making it more likely for them to invest in IPs in the future. People are bitching about getting a game to play on multiple MICROSOFT platforms for free. If you're using Windows 10, you're using a Microsoft pla...

Yes, I'm aware that Wind Waker was an impressive game on Gamecube. I owned it when it came out. The amount of work put into the HD remaster, however, is obvious. Perhaps it was simply due to the graphical style, but the new lighting engine they used adds to the game greatly, and looks wonderful. It just doesn't seem like there was nearly the same amount of work put into the TP remaster. Not that I won't buy it and replay, but for what we're getting, it seems overpriced.
It's inevitable eventually. Tech has come a long way in the last twenty years.
It does look much better than the original version, granted. Take a look at Wind Waker HD though, which was developed in house, and not outsourced like this remaster. Wind Waker HD is GORGEOUS, and benefited greatly from its enhanced lighting engine. I really feel that's what Twilight Princess HD is missing. I'm assuming that it could have been possible to add a much greater graphical fidelity, but either time or budget restraints did not permit it. I'm going to purchase the game ...
The point is, he payed for a product that he did not receive in working condition. In order to establish good relations with the customer, they should have either sent him a copy of the damaged disk, or refunded his money in full. I work in management, and am expected to provide good customer service and solutions which benefit customers daily.
VR is going to be used in all walks of life. The gaming industry eventually will probably be one of the lower percentages of VR usage. Job training, touring industries, social platforms and VR porn will all be billion dollar industries. It's inevitable. We don't have to worry about it not taking off.
I've always secretly hoped for Nintendo Vs. Capcom.
Gamecube was one of the greatest consoles ever.
Fun fact, the lead character designer for IX also worked on various anime including Samurai Champloo and Ergo Proxy.
@rainslacker
Fun fact: The Xbox was originally planned to be backwards compatible with Dreamcast software. Many of the titles for DC that were in development at the time of its demise were moved to Microsoft's console. Also, the original Xbox was awesome xD Man, I miss that gen. Had a PS2, Xbox, and Gamecube. Those were the days...
The way the installation works with BC games is, the disk basically functions as a key to queue a download. Xbox one games, you're unpacking and installing data from a disk. Would not work the same way.
Imagine what Monolith could have accomplished with a higher budget! I haven't touched another game since X has released.
I am constantly in awe of this game. The draw distance, the art, its size, the SMOOTHNESS. I can whip the camera around in intense battle in every direction without the slightest frame drop.
I have interest, I just have no plans on buying the game for $60, when that money could go elsewhere; I'm still playing Halo, and Xenoblade Chronicles X came out before I could even finish Fallout. The way my backlog is looking, I probably won't buy another game until Star Fox comes out in April. They chose an incredibly poor release date for Tomb Raider. Should have been January/February.
Xenoblade Chronicles, greatest game ever, I try to explain that to many of my gamer friends. They don't know what they have missed.
I find it ironic that those gamers will trash MS while most likely using a Windows device to do so.
