I had that thought initially too, but given that the Koroks are an evolved form of the Kokiri (perhaps the Great Deku Tree forced that transformation on them to escape the floods), there's no saying that this couldn't be during a separate timeline as well. It's pretty heavily hinted that this one takes place way into the future.
Because it's Zelda man. If you're not a fan, it's difficult to understand the special place it holds in one's heart. Zelda is special. I damn near cried watching the trailer and live footage. Also Fallout 4 was disappointing as hell and cannot be compared at all to The Witcher 3. I loved it at first, but it became stale so quickly that I couldn't muster enough care to even beat it.
Xenoblade X was amazing.
They also purposely removed NPCs and any sorts of towns or settlements to prevent spoilers.
The thing is, if Microsoft is sticking with Windows 10 as a base platform for all its devices, will there ever really be a need for an Xbox 2? If they're using the same operating system for their Xboxes, wouldn't it make sense to simply upgrade the hardware as necessary every four years instead of building an entire new platform from the ground up?
It goes to show that this new Zelda may be accomplishing visions they've had for the series for 30 years, limited by technology.
Hell yes Morrowind, greatest Elder Scrolls hands down.
Lead designer, programmer and artists for Metroid Prime are what really grabbed me lol
Honestly, one of the biggest gripes I had with Fallout 4 was their ancient engine lol. Bethesda is comprised of great artists, but they're not the greatest programmers.
I think this game could have quite the pro following. The possibilities for strategies and character combos seem very, very deep. Lots of meta once people figure it all out.
Titanfall is amazing lol.
Dear Lords! The realization that reviewers are human beings with their own opinions! Like an 88/100 is a bad score...I'm sure there's someone out there who has played U4 and absolutely hated it, and has every right to.
Unfortunately, even though the original fanbase has grown up, Nintendo is still making Pokemon for kids. Simple and to the point, to appeal to them. Makes me sad, I'd prefer a more complex game myself.
It came out about four years ago now. Typically Nintendo consoles have a 4 or 5 year life.
Xbox One 1TB with Rare Replay, Halo 5, Ori, Gears of War, Forza Horizon 2, AND a 50$ Amazon card for $400. That's a steal.
It's because they have 100 million dollar advertising budgets. They could shit in a video game case and sell it, and people would still buy it with that much air time on tv.
My question to you, sure, digital is a great option, but why would you prefer a disc? Read speeds for games aren't fast enough anymore. You wouldn't have to install the entire game to your drive, and it would drastically lower loading times. They would take up less space physically and last longer than discs as well. As a consumer, it's a win.
Manufacturing costs on the consoles themselves too! Less moving parts, lasers to read, heating will be less of an issue. It might end up cheaper for them in the long run, to cut the costs on the console and go with flash storage opposed to buying cheap disks and running a higher hardware cost.
Discs are pointless. I have to store the games on an external anyways. I've gone all digital this gen. Saves me time, and I don't sell my games, so it's nice having them tied to an account I can use across multiple consoles. That and, god forbid your discs decay, or if you have children, they scratch or spill soda on it.
I'm starting to think that was a mistake, because so many people have seemed to miss that part, it's coming off as a poor representation of the final product.
