Even without a 4k TV/Monitor, you're still going to see significant performance improvements over the standard Xbox One. Higher framerates (I'm assuming) and resolution regardless, considering that most Xbox One games are running at dynamic resolutions under 1080p.
They're going to receive less profit anyways, because no one's going to buy the game lol.
3D World was superior in its multiplayer aspect. I had great fun playing that with my old roommates. Odyssey is just...so good though lol.
It's one of the most fun, strangest games I've ever played. Might be stealing my top spot from Super Mario World, to be honest.
This! Or a choice. The motion controls would still work just fine on the Switch. I'd more like to see them streamline the game, take out all the hand holding, and make the loading screens more seamless, like being able to jump on/off your bird without a loading screen, by having the entire area loaded at once. There was really an amazing game buried underneath all of it.
Scholar of the First Sin was actually my favorite Dark Souls. I still love 1 and 3.
The PS4 is great, the Switch is great, Xbox seems to be trying to correct mistakes. The indie scene is thriving, and aside from publishers turning to the dark side with MT and GaaS, it's a great time to be a gamer. I hope younger kids/teens look back at it as fondly as I do with the PS2/Xbox/GC era. Those were good times lol.
It gets clicks man. That, and the consensus was before and during release that the Switch was going to fail hard.
Trolling must get you hard. Yes, I read your comment history. Home sick from work, doped up on flu medicine and not a damn thing better to do. You've never posted one single positive thing on this site. You know, there was a study that trolls are actually really sad people: "Both studies revealed similar patterns of relations between trolling and the Dark Tetrad of personality: trolling correlated positively with sadism, psychopathy, and Machiavellianism, using both enjoyment ratings...
Not entirely true, Super Mario 64 DS had different playable characters, areas and challenges from the original. They added quite a bit.
He means anything not played with a mouse and keyboard, apparently.
Games cost too much to make these days for any AAA game to be PC exclusive. Those days are gone. The only reason most big games exist now is because the console market makes enough to support them.
I'm pretty sure almost every Switch exclusive so far has sold pretty well... It's been out less than a year.
All the Gamestops in my town have always been great. Friendly staff. There's a lot of overhead in running a business. I manage a pizza place, and people tend to think profits are astronomical; When open 16 hours a day, 7 days a week, we may push $1,000 in profit, which a percentage of that has to be put aside for emergencies and repairs. Most small businesses make small profits, including local Gamestops, which is why they can't give people much when buying used games. I'm not say...
It's inevitable anyways, but you're helping putting those people out of work.
I go all digital already, but I hope people understand that physical media isn't going to be around much longer, or will be limited press as collectables for inflated prices.
Fatal Frame IV on the Wii, and the remake of 2. Scary as hell lol.
I was thinking the same. Wait on it, then buy it for Switch to support it.
RE4 is wildly considered one of the greatest games ever made.
It's unrealistic, but I've been hoping for some years now that Nintendo would buy them. I think they'd do very well by some of their IP, namely Megaman.
Until console developers have more resources than they know what to do with, they're almost always going to choose to max out graphics and run 30FPS, because shiny graphics are a higher selling point than smooth gameplay.
