I would wait unless there is a good sale. The new cards will greatly outperform current ones while using far less power. Much bigger leap than the last few cycles.
Adrift looks fantastic!
I hardly ever get scared from horror films or games. But, with VR this might change. Allison Road and The Hum are looking great.
Looks like Ark is going to be one of the titles to go to for multi-player and adventure!
Of course, Ace Combat 7 will be quite a rush in fast-paced jet combat.
No idea what 100ft Robot Golf is. Not at all! I love the Evangelion reference in the reveal trailer.
They don't release a game for the sake of making money. They always have ideas on the table. Unlike other developers that don't make good sequels or are under contract to keep working on the same game over and over. Not many other publishers or first party developers would have been given the go ahead to make The Last of Us when the Uncharted series was still hot. There is a reason Naughty Dog are always at the top or in the top 3 video game studios. It's not just because of their...
Home was a pretty good idea. I think it needed more integration. The perfect implementation would be bringing your character from another game into Home. And, having the trophy system far more integrated into it like they were planning. Hopefully they revamp it. I bet if they do then they would adapt PSVR to it.
Well, they are past the trend of selling finished IP's after PS1 era. I think this one will be stuck in the vault for a while.
I agree. It just depends how the increased difficulty is done.
The thing about increasing difficulty is I don't like when it's a simple enemy health and damage increase. If they change enemies behavior, maybe a slight stat increase, add new and harder enemies instead of artificially making the normal ones stronger, then a higher difficulty is definitely welcome to me.
Level-scaled enemies bother me too. Obvlivion, Skyrim, Fallout. I hate when I'm...
How can you even speak without any idea? $50? Even less? Are you joking? I've stated above that I believe it has a wide profit margin since the sensors, screens, and material are not typically that expensive. But, $50?
I'm thinking it probably costs in the $300 range to build, mainly because the manufacturing process is probably a little more hands on and less automated at the moment until they have future revisions that are more easily manufactured.

Well. Overpriced is a technical term. A PS3 wasn't overpriced. It was underpriced because the parts cost more than what customers were buying them for. The correct term is expensive. A $500 PS3 was indeed an expensive buy. It was definitely worth that much. It was technically worth more.
However, this article has nothing to justify its logic aside from "It's new". Yeah, right. The parts that make up the Oculus are not new. Many sensors we've had for year...
@XanderZane
Exactly. This is a huge reason why I also hate disc trays. They made it easier to get micro scratches. But, luckily Bluray has a scratch resistant coating which really does help. Micro scratches would be a nightmare for these discs because of how fine the data is burned onto them.
@XMessiah23x
Exactly.
I don't find it mad loud whatsoever. Especially not 360 loud as it was partly because of the disc drive being loud as well. But, it's definitely louder. Both stay very cool as you said. So, there shouldn't be an argument for it. But, when someone wants to claim facts and put down the other console with a lie I'm going to put them on the spot.
Wrong and misinformed.

It has to come with everything and a selection of games or demos at that price. I'm sure they will have a $500 SKU. But, for the base model? Highly doubtful. I'm still thinking $400 for the headset and camera, possibly including Move controllers.
Two years ago the PS4 was $575.35 USD in Switzerland.
Many overseas areas these products cost more according to our dollar, different taxes for the customer, and different taxes for them to ship products there.
If a PS4 was around $575 USD in Switzerland while it was $400 here.. Well. You guess where I'm going with this. After you convert this to USD you guessed it to be around the same price in the US from that alone. But, from direct comparison it m...
You don't realize that there is no business in a 30 hour game being 30 hours if the first 5 hours are boring, lacking, and there for no good reason. Just make it a 25 hour game or fix it.
Anyways, it was a cliche set of games. Unnoriginal and ruined aspects that the FF franchise is prided in.
@Transporter47
Exactly. People are just trying to justify it. You can tap on the console and it would scratch it. That is inexcusable. Nothing else does that. The PSP is portable, in your pocket, and uses discs. That thing NEVER had an issue and it didn't have a special disc reader or anything.
A mouse is far better for aiming. The only thing that bugs me are the other input methods. We need an evolution of the keyboard. Mouses have gotten better and better. Keyboards have gotten quicker responses and more "tactile" feedback, but not exactly a real response to consumers having to get peripherals for other game types. The Razer Tartarus is a good answer.
Normally I prefer a mouse and keyboard. But, Destiny just feels so perfect on controller I really don...
It seems like they primarily have their own version of what Call of Duty has been doing, except offering substantially more originality and more incentive to be a previous player. You won't just buy a whole new game. You will add on to your current one. Destiny 1 was unfortunately lacking on content but it otherwise had a very solid base. Taken King has a ton in it and is quite good. It does suck for pre-Taken King players but I don't think the next games will be the same issue. All t...
It hasn't only happened from bumping the console. And, despite how much people want to glorify it. This IS an issue whether you bump the console or not. I've heard a lot of people have their discs scratched without touching the console. Many people had a reason not to have their console vertically. Working at a retail store with used games. We saw tons of rings etched from their 360's when they tried to trade-in. And, when they have to plug in a USB peripheral or drive. Guess what...
Just look at the agree to disagree ratio on this article.
Everyone knows this is one of the biggest games coming. It has a huge amount of exposure and stole the show when it debuted. It has a ton of fans looking out for its release. It's fishy that somehow people are getting more disagrees than agrees for being excited for one of the biggest games coming. And, this tends to be happening for months now. Random amount of about 6 or 7 disagrees within a few minutes. Someone...
@Decrypt
Mostly true. PC does have sales more often and sites like G2A keep the deals coming, but I wait to purchase all my games on sale no matter what platform. I have a pretty good library of PS4 games and it's from PS+ and the games I got on sale for $10-$20 that are normally $60. Also, Buy one get one free sales, rare occurrences, but on $60 games? Heck yea. This never happens for PC but it has savings in its more frequent sales and older titles that are heavily disc...
