Titanfall is a poor example. It's online features are no more advanced than a decade old online game.
Drivatars are processed on your console, then uploaded online with a rating to determine who's game to download to. The AI is not run by the cloud while you are racing.
Sony can afford many Rolls Royce's. It's just a waste of money when consumer hardware is fine as is and server hardware gets outdated quickly.
Crackdown has a cool physics system but it's just a wow factor. The gameplay and graphics themselves are basic. The franchise also isn't very big.
A lot of people don't understand. The main suppliers of consoles rely heavily on software and accessory sales to make more profit. I worked at an electronics store. Many customers didn't have internet and many that did didn't even have Live or PS+. You're losing out on a ton of customer convenience and losing suppliers profit this way. Most still aren't ready for all digital.

It is important to remember this is a forward thought device. Graphics won't look as technically impressive as a standard PS4 game but I'm entirely positive many awesome stunners will come out using this. It's more about the experience with good graphics rather than on your TV with very great graphics. Of course we remember 3D on KillZone 3. They just need a better movement solution and it will be perfect. We have some of those gamer keypads with an analog on the side but they never really got past the initial hype it seems. I've always hated having to toggle walk and not having 360 degree movement without turning the mouse. But, I'm used to it since it's my main platform.

It just depends. I know I prefer controllers for most third person games but I heavily prefer M&K with no aim assist for first person.

Have you done ANY research? You call me armchair engineer and look at you without ANY research. Both consoles core parts run the same temperature. The outer shell of the PS4 is closer to the internals. That is the only reason people think it gets hotter but it doesn't. If you pop both open the processors both run the same temperature. Is the X1 a little more quiet? Yes. Nothing that constitutes over twice the size.

Yes. The progress they made on the PS3 emu is quite insane. Personally the only game I'd care to use on a PS3 emulator is Demons Souls and Gran Turismo 6.
I wonder if it would be smart for Nintendo, Sony, or Microsoft to release a PC emulator for older consoles. Even if it costs $50. Of course, have it set up to only launch physical games in your disc drive or legally downloaded titles attached to your account. Just a thought.
