I'm curious how Hololens is futureproof when it's not close to launch yet.
Azure is just a typical server, just exists in portions around the world. Sony also has servers around the world, as well as a game streaming service for all devices.
DirectX is the reason it's difficult to port games in the first place. OpenGL and similar options are typically the best thing as they are open source and can easily be ported to more devices, including Wi...
No they can't. That is not how it works. They have a set budget and still operate with investors in mind, while consulting their biggest ones opinions on decisions. They haven't had good income from XBox Division until X1.
If you made any sense, then MS would simply buy Sony and Nintendo. But, that is not at all how it works in business. Why doesn't the top dog business in all fields just buy the less expensive ones then? It's not because they are good peopl...
I wish it had built in slots on the device to keep multiple game cartridges with the system(without a carrying case), whether they put the extra money and time into making these slots just for storing them or actually functional to be read on the system. Maybe with a new version later on.

Food is a necessity. And, fast food is a different category. They're not going to get pissed off that you made your own food or bring in outside food. You can't have McDonald's for every meal. On the other hand, soda is not a necessity. What you do on your own time is you. But, no. You won't be having Coke if you work at Pepsi while you're at your job unless it's in a container. It's just how it is working at a legitimate brand.
Clearly, they had a plan to give a low review in the first place, which is why an unheard of expendable reviewer is given credit for a ridiculous score. No one else would give the new person one of the biggest games of the year off the bat.
I really hope it has no shortages. At least for the long haul. I'm already a little sad that I only made the call list IF my store manages a bigger shipment than expected.
Hopeful based on what past tendencies? I understand if it's wishful. But, hopeful normally has merit that they have had that tendency or mindset before.
That's basically what I've told people before. His only job is to give minor positive comments very often, while avoiding any comparison between competitors as much as possible, as well as the occasional nod to the competition to act as a more fair and open-minded representative.
Sony doesn't want this because other developers will start doing the same thing, and then everybody will do it, and all the "exclusive" subscriber content will turn away retail customers, their offerings will have less incentive to provide good content, because the way many big businesses have tended to run lately, think that if they already have you in their pocket, that they can release whatever they want.
We all know Ubisoft and Activision would do the same...
@Yi-Long
I still don't get it. Yes, they should be able to give that option. It shouldn't be hard to do.
But, you're still getting the same exact story but in a different language. Nothing changes except the dialect. It's not like the earlier days of porting games to a western audience where translation was still a problem in development. It's not the same as original content being stripped and replaced with something else.

@VideoGameLab
Hello. It's important to note that when the term "milked" is being used it generally applies to producing a game solely due to the fact that it sells very well, whether proper planning and resources are there. The perfect example of this is the Final Fantasy XIII series. The first one was not liked by long time Final Fantasy fans and had a pretty average story similar in qualities of meh anime series, but it sold due to the art style, easy combat...
1. Digital is becoming the go to thing anyways.
2. What the issue is with many foreign produced products is.. That the savings they get from going foreign normally is just more money for said company rather than also bringing savings to the consumer.
3. We should wait to see how actual studies represent the consumer price of said products. If it's not such a huge impact, I welcome it. I want this country to do better as a whole. Not just save a couple bucks here.
You do realize that the term that is getting to you, in this case "casuals", won't go away just because you use it right?
The "casual" argument is quite stupid. Yes, Wii was a hugely casual console. It appealed to much more people that prior consoles because of the idea of motion controls and how easy and fun the games were for a non-gamer. That is not a bad thing when it still had great games for core gamers. If you think PS4 is meant to be just as...
@southpark123
Look, you're clearly insecure about your own console. Look at all the hate you have been giving the PS4 with your throwaway account.
Stop trying to get others to like what you like with negative reinforcement. It's quite manipulative and disgusting to have an attitude like that. Either give proper conversation with a better objective view. I personally love the idea of the Switch. I've been wanting something like it for a long t...
@Knushwood Butt
Well, The games shouldn't be as big as the other consoles when it comes to downloads and installation files. So, this does save some more space. SD cards are not expensive, but are so when compared to a HDD for GB vs $1. I will enjoy the much faster load times though! Hopefully, there are speed improvements for higher class SD cards, unlike consoles having little benefit from switch to SSD from HDD.
@Utalkin2me
There is no point in arguing whether it is one or the other when it is clearly both.
@Obscure_Observer
Many tech demo's actually have great graphics nowadays. And, from how much time has passed between so many of these games MS revealed we have gotten next to nothing for updates. Not even screen captures. It's ridiculous to see you trying to spin more positivity out of their continued lack of support and lame attempts and numbers games at marketing.
Cloud is a gimmick in the way they are trying to present it to you and what they ...
I'm really curious about the transfer speeds. Like, how fast load times and loading screens will be with completely diskless memory storage. I remember Oblivion on 360 load times were really slow. Much better on PS3, still slow at times. On PC when I had a SSD for Oblivion and Skyrim I just couldn't read the whole loading screen lore/tips before it loaded all the way. lol.
That's about the same default clock as most processors on the market.
And, you're refusing to listen to your replies by giving negativity.
Anyways. AMD isn't going to risk overhyping their products right now. If they hyped them as much as they currently have and then they disappoint then their stock would plummet immensely. I believe their word right now. I'm waiting till February to order my CPU and decide whether AMD is viable for me aga...
@ItMatters
Have you ever seen or done the math?
Nobody wants to compete with Azure because it's utterly ridiculous to spend money on hundreds of thousands of servers that are easily out-dated in a few years, especially when no one needs that many servers right now. Not even MS needs that many servers right now. They have too many variations of servers to pull off anything that any other server couldn't do. Did you watch the Crackdown 3 footage? S...
