Why wouldn't you if the option was there? Same exact thing. Far smaller, sometimes more efficient and more cost effective.

Both consoles have gaming laptop type hardware. It doesn't have to be half the size to stay cool. Tear aparts show almost an entirely empty shell. Any decent cooling system is only as hot as the room. This type of hardware doesn't need a nearly desktop size case.

I'm also a PC gamer. Why should I be happy about any service being attacked? I'm only relieved its not also on PC, yet.

I'm pretty sure there are many groups ready to post a status about "hacking" or "DDoS'ing" at the click of a finger at any time either major online service has a hickup. Same crap as when Lizard Squad was bragging about taking servers down during heavy holiday time. The ones playing games did 95% of the work to stress the servers out. Such boring people. Not even brave enough to seek attention in real life.

Exactly. Why do so many people not hold MS accountable? Especially, when it is their employees, divisions, and companies that they own. Rare owns XBox? No. Rare owns Kinect? No. Did they have the idea? Perhaps. But, what parent company decided to abandon almost all AAA development for 1-2 years and prioritize Kinect with casual titles and never delivering on the talks of integrated Kinect features with big AAA exclusives? Oh, yeah. Xbox.

Yeah. It was never XBox. It was Don Ma...

I feel like he might supervise a smaller $40 game whilst working on a bigger AAA project in the long-scheme of things. Being that the exclusive title would be the AAA sized project.

I hate living in the "I'm disappointed but I have to spend $60 on it to find out myself" generation.

Also, the "I know that the sequel should just be DLC but it's not so I'm gonna buy a whole new game anyways because that's just how it is" generation.

For sure. It's just up to Kojima. He's been through a lot and we don't know if his passion has been shot or rejuvenated. Sony has very good developer relationships. Hopefully they help guide him along the way and Kojima doesn't lose his innovation and creativity after all the Konami drama.

I hope we get a neat compilation of his squad based and mecha work rolled into one at some point. But, I'm so ready to see if he does branch off into horror again and ma...

How many time does everyone have to clarify? DX12 is an extremely small fraction of a difference on the console. DX12 is literally what XBox One already has except applied to PC. The only benefit for the console it has is allowing porting of PC games to XBox One and vice versa much easier.

For real. That was such a goosebump inducing moment. I haven't seen any song/game promotion that fit so well since then. They are still so different from other bands. Obviously, their older stuff reigns supreme(I haven't listened to whole new album yet), but some of their newer stuff is still quite good and I am quite picky. I hate some songs by my favorite bands. I enjoy sometimes one or two songs from a band that otherwise I find low on talent.

@N4GGuy24

More sales, especially in other countries, provides more diversity, creativity, and a whole ecosystem for development. Very few foreign games would arrive on XBox if not for PlayStation having the sales overseas to justify development for them, and the later ports to western areas, if any at all. Bloodborne, Dark Souls, Demons Souls. Most relevant franchises I can think of. Don't ever think sales don't matter. The development budgets are far higher thanks ...

@Fries1223

Yes that totally makes sense when the majority of people have an iPhone over a Windows phone.

PSNow and PS Remote Play on the AppleTV. Makes sense. Sony is making a lot of steps forward onto the market now and being more open and intuitive with the buyers decision is part of the steps they are taking(such as PSNow support on Samsung Smart TV's). Samsung also being Apple's main competitor in the smart phone business. Apple is still rumor...

No. A small overclock would hardly change a thing. These aren't high-end CPU's. A small overclock won't be a big change in performance and it's highly unlikely a large overclock could take place as it wasn't designed around it in the first place. A new core means less for the other cores and more effects processed at once across them all. Either way you think about it it's not going to be a huge deal for gaming. But, maybe it might provide more consistency with some th...

You have a great point about sales relativity. A game doesn't have to sell as much as a huge AAA game to be a success. Some think 1 million launc day isn't even good. Of course other games perform better. But, good sales are good sales.

Racing is a huge genre. Honestly I think Need For Speed is one of the biggest reasons for racing fans being shakey over the genre these days. Stick with the formula and improve it. As Flood said. GT on PS1 an...

What some people keep saying is "it's optional!" and in some situations you can earn said item with in game currency from playing it. Yeah. In some games this seems fine but it is an enabler. An enabler is just the start of a worser trend and thing is MS held back the MT until after reviews. That's very abusive to do this because of Forza 5's lack of content and the disappointment it brought when it still had the audacity to put cars up for real money at launch day while...

@NeoGamer232

I'll grab it on sale for PC use. I've been debating a X1 controller as my new PC controller whenever I use one(mainly just racers). Never quite liked a 360 controller but I got one. I don't like the software I had to get for PS controllers.

3866d ago 1 agree1 disagreeView comment

So, all controllers should be $150? I don't justify a few buttons, magnets, and tension adjustment features to triple the price. That's more worth $120.

Better switch to gasoline powered controllers!

Unfortunately, I know people that feel the need to make a new name every few months and they did it thinking they could transfer their old paid for stuff before they bought stuff on the new account.
