So, you're gonna backtrack and save face after the fact. 🙄

You talk like you knew this info beforehand but you stated "30fps at its best" before. Now you say "40fps approx". So, how good do you think your word is and your effort to suddenly act objective?

I didn't mention Forbidden West, did I? And, again. You backtrack and completely contradict yourself to fake objectivity...
You just said:

Ray tracing is ray tracing. What do you mean not genuine? Software just means it's not taking advantage of dedicated purposed hardware or accelerators. It's still ray tracing.

Do you understand that games that run 30fps do so because the game doesn't reach 60fps? At times, these games still reach 40s and 50s in testing. But, to keep consistency they lock it to 30. It's not because they only kinda run at 30. The PS5 demo ran 30 smoothly. They also said this was an early build on an older PS5 dev kit. But, you don't mention this for your own bias benefit. And, mention it for your side to score pity points.

Who cares about sides? Yawn. ...

Lol.

There is never any way to be faster than the drive itself. So, since we know that the PS5 drive is not bottlenecked and can run its full speed all the way to the VRAM. We already knows that it reaches the 5.5GB/s. There is no way for the XBox to somehow be faster than it's current drives speed in order to catch up to the PS5's drive and I/O. It doesn't work like that.

It's a Sliger SM560. This case is 11 Liters in volume so it's basically as big as a shoe box. It's an overkill build in a little package 😂

Bungie didn't even write Reach. They didn't want to develop it but decided to give MS another shot at allowing them to do a new IP after being pushed to do it, but they still wanted Halo so they said everyones gonna leave whether they keep the Bungie name or not and MS let them go

I prefer having my games downloaded rather than swapping discs, especially since the games are all installed anyways. But, physical has benefits of used and more sales prices, having a drive to play my Bluray movies, and lending the game to a friend

He acts like he's involved with game development and making trailers for companies to act like he has insight and expertise. Calling a video director office mate? Lol what. He acts like a hardware expert but insinuates he works on trailers, which would mean he's not a developer. He also stated that he has worked on trailers for entirely different companies in entirely different states before, which means he isn't a developer at all because this teleworking isn't a thing for bi...

@WGAF

It depends on the efficiency of the system. TFlops is a theoretical performance measurement. Not real world scenario. It's not even a benchmark. Just taking the specs of the hardware and multiplying them together to have a reference point of power. This is why they say TFlops aren't created equally. NVidia, AMD, and Intel have different architectures with better or worse architectures even within themselves. AMD GCN vs RDNA2 vs RDNA1 Tflops are different as we...

It's well established here that you don't understand the technical terms you talk about. Quit lying on here. Just stop.

Frequency cycles? That's not even a term lol. You just thought the two sound right together because all you do is Ad-Lib technical terms.

"push it hard on occasion to hit 10 TFLOPS without over-extending the pipeline continously"

Nope. Officially the console maintains its...

Thing is, even journalists report things they know are fake because they care more about views than integrity. This way they spike excitement to get people to read, and then outrage to keep people revisiting and more people coming in to see what's the big deal, and then later they will make a 2nd article addressing it was fake which pulls in new viewers and all the previous ones bothered by their prior one. Just double dipping on a slight controversy and playing stupid to get views when t...

The gameplay design of first person versus third person changes dramatically. You have to design the game around being third person first because corridors, crawlspaces, narrow passages, interactable objects, etcetera all have to be designed to give you room in 3rd person, which frankly doesn't make sense in a super cluttered and populated city. A lot of people used to bring up Bethesda games or GTA games offering both, but those games do not have very good alt-camera modes. They're j...

That's probably why they positioned the controller LED's on top next to the touchpad. The headset will probably have integrated cameras which means the can't see the front of the controller

"Relative percentages can be a little misleading. Sure it's on 17% difference in power but that's because the base power has increased.

The raw power difference will still be significant."

What? You just stated that a power difference is misleading if it's represented in percentage? But, state the raw power difference matters? What do you mean? The percentage represents the raw power difference.

2108d ago 11 agree0 disagreeView comment

Those differences were due to a power ratio difference. PS4 vs XB1? ~40% difference. That's an easy advantage. What's with people measuring by TFlop in this way? It's not the. 53 TFlop that sets the difference. It's the overall difference comparatively. With the new consoles, put into percentages, it's not a large difference. It's small. If something was 1 TFlop's vs 2 TFlop's you'd obviously have something twice as strong. The importance is the comparison ...

I can talk about and dress up cylinder count, cylinder bore, fuel injection systems, Variable Valve Timing, piston stroke, horsepower, torque, gear ratio, and many automotive terms to act like I know it well, but I don't truly understand the whole workings of a car. Just a lot of the ideas and basics. But, if I try, I could appear like I know what I'm talking about by mentioning all these things and using basic logic to sound experienced with them.

Lol. No..

Resident Evil is basically their biggest IP. You're gonna twist this to say they didn't want to spend more time on their biggest IP to reach over 150million more install base because a game costs money to develop? Well, duh it costs money. That's why they want as many sales as possible. Yet, in this case, they sacrificed all those potential customers to ease development burden and allow creative freedom that requires next gen...
