The help was just Sony having access to their server locations, which are vast, to be able to install their PSNow hardware in more locations to bring better worldwide support. Previously, it was Sony having to find many different providers, which meant taking longer to find parties to negotiate with, and having many more to deal with.

Really? The XBox One had the most grossly loyal fanbase on this site for years now. There is absolutely no defence for the XBox One this generation. Some very loyal users even quit after the Halo Infinite showcase and had left for weeks after they had no more excuses left for the poor quality and misguidance of MS studios after all this time, and still have hardly any game releases for another couple years.

Fanboys on both sides are bad. One side simply has a larger fanbase...

No. Because, they intentionally said they changed their mind about forcing their devs to develop for current gen for 2 years because they "listened to the fans". Then post a bunch of next-gen only games that are clearly already over two years away like they're proving that statement correct. They were already outside of the 2 year period. They still have the same devs developing for the same platform(s), but advertised they have freedom just to loo...

Except, they "changed" their policy to say that the developers do have the decision to develop only for next-gen, rather than be limited by a two year buffer. But, the only games that are next-gen only are games that were already out of that two year cross-gen buffer because they are all over two years of development left. They never would have seen last-gen regardless and they decided to mislead and say that they have listened to the fans on pushing next-gen and listed them to try ...

Long list of best sellers and it's not shown up here yet. Supposedly refreshes every hour so check it in an hour and see if it pops up on it after a refresh

I wish they'd understand that 90 or 100fps is still quite a nicer bump in smoothness and would be worth aiming for than 120fps if it means turning a couple settings a notch higher.

Pre-order stock is different from regular stock.

No dev is stupid enough to release a game that wouldn't maintain a locked framerate on a console where the only bottleneck is the GPU. Keyword. Bottleneck. The CPU will basically never be bottle-necked this generation, meaning his point about the CPU on the stronger console having a higher workload is entirely moot. It will still have plenty of freedom.

All we're seeing is damage controlling the decision of choosing the $299 versus the vastly stronger $399 option. ...

I'd love a Guantlet/Ultimate Alliance style crossover.

Extremely fake information.

You can't just quickly overclock hardware and produce it. Why wouldn't everyone just do this then? They already have a significantly higher clockspeed. Silicon has limits. You can't just magically raise the clock like that. It's clear who did the most engineering with their box.

So, is the award "Most Wanted Tech" or not?

We know who has the most interest. By far, every poll, every social media posting, and every PS5 comment has extremely higher feedback, favorable numbers, and engagement.

This isn't anything to do with what console has had more talking points and official videos. This is what tech is most desirable. And, no gamer, especially games industry professions, would find the XBox to be the valid option. ...

Do you have any point of reference to show an example of similar fanboyism, or are you just going to use a made-up what-if rhetorical question to assume you have a point?

Don't forget that they intend this to be a 10 year GaaS game. So, they are just preparing for post launch content, probably.

It's still worrying that they keep grasping several different writers to make all these different game storylines. They announce a new trilogy for the game.. and have a different writer for each game in the trilogy... This is already why the story is inconsistent, ruins past themes and concepts, and why it's dredging on. Oh, and why it'...

@L7Chapel

Development can start alongside the engine. Which, btw, takes roughly two years to make, and games take roughly 3 years to make. They gave us the original release date and only changed it 3 months before launch. Don't blame us for pointing out how it wasn't ready, and for complaining they showed it to us with clear downgrades from a two year old trailer. Only to delay it so close to launch and blame it on COVID, not lack of quality.

You aren't pointing out fallacies. Go ahead directly quote something with your direct response to it. I want to see what fallacy you're actually disproving.

What you're doing is ignoring much of the issue and propping up what little you think you can give a silver lining to. This is like if you tell us they fixed the toilet now, great job, but they waited till the floorboards rotted through. This should have been done ages ago, and these new issues should have ...

@sitdown

What are you here for? To stir a pot?

Obviously, we know the guys name. Humans make errors. Especially, when relying on memory. The issue is when some people intentionally ignore being corrected and intentionally spread false narratives and spinning fake concern as a defense mechanism when their object doesn't look so good.

"Fully debunked". The only thing wrong with my statement was saying Sony rarely has delays...
