I really disagree. It was okay. I can't get excited about FF16 even with the team behind it. I am tired of cookie cutter stories and lack of creativity with boring character development. I am hoping this isn't a problem. The combat, even with their improvements since XV, still doesn't seem that fun. I miss how relaxing yet creative and suspenseful some turn based fights were that real time action can't make happen. Of course both have negatives and positives but I think they&#...

Agreed. Not that I wouldn't be excited about a future game from a renowned studio. But, I am already put off by the FF16 trailer. The combat just doesn't seem fun to me and I need to know more of the story. It doesn't seem exciting to me. It just looks like it's trying to be safe.

What a shame many on this site are. Avoiding blame for a company that sees no passion in the industry and cares nothing for you. They will continue to have problems because you aren't honest with them and yourself.

Everyone knows how development works. Everyone here knows. Stop re-explaining common sense and listen.

Yea. Just about everyone has had delays and some have had launch issues here and there. But none have these issues like Microsoft. Their ...

I wonder where it could go. I'd love to have more technology available and hell he'd probably put a mech in it this go around

Mobile games aren't a good comparison.

I think they should allow opting out of the oppprtunity for the FIA license. Even if it's on another career profile and you gotta earn things separately. I don't like online too much on most racing games. I do like to see the times though and try to get up there but I don't need to be on a scoreboard

Personally, I liked it because with limitations did come positives to more respectful users. At the time, I certainly wasn't on the more popular side of things but because I was respectful I had tons of bubbles. I would say that currently some very common posters on here would have one bubble and that does suck, but I feel that for those that want an honest discussion and not have things behind a guise of what they're real reason for commenting is it did benefit real discussions and t...

For real. Why do so many outlets talk monthly cost when that's insanely more expensive? Lol.

No no no. Apppaarrently 2022 is the year of multiplats and cross gen. Didn't you hear? There is totally not just one single guy reposting this one-sided statement that belittles already released AAA exclusives and those that are scheduled and reassured to release on time for this year. Nonono. This one persons statement has convinced me because he keeps copy/pasting it. Why use critical thinking and fair judgement? That's just silly. If XBox can't have a good year then neither can...

A handful of direct sales will easily overcome revenue from your game being accessed on a service. The only profitable reason big sellers appear on GamePass is when sales already slowed to a crawl or they received a check up front to make up for the lost sales.

@Orchard

That's the point. They have a cloud infrastructure right now even though they rent the space. They still make and develop the entire system. It's just much cheaper to rent and to bring more servers to more locations if you go with existing vendors. Along with evolving hardware and server needs, there is no reason to buy an insane sized cluster like Azure.

For those that don't know. The Azure partnership was to place their PsNow serve...

Then how do any of their online systems work?

Microsoft doesn't host Fortnite servers. Microsoft recieves a cut of every transaction from games on their store. You buy a Fortnite skin and they recieve a cut. They get paid by you just to get through their pay wall. Then they recieve a cut from those games at retail, and any extra purchases for that game made through their store. Also, servers aren't as expensive as they lead you to believe. The subscription cost has never been a necessity or close to it. It was always about taking...

Why can't we just have Warcraft style games again.

Correct me if I'm wrong. But, new hardware and game engines will be loading far higher detail models, textures, and LoD will be far higher quality and more populated as we get deeper into this gen. It may not be taken advantage of for a while, but it will get there and having the RAM for it will be important. The PC comparison isn't the fairest since the same high end card is running games designed for much weaker hardware and they have to design the game a...

I guess people are just missing the point. And, now we got people thinking Live is still just an online sub and games are a generous inclusion like it's not a feature of the paid service lol.

Live officially on Microsofts site lists, "Free games every month. Now that’s Gold.
Get 2 free games a month, including backward compatible Xbox 360 games".

But, many are starting to say that Live payment is still...

It was originally just for online access. It had updated and began monthly game releases to compete with PS Plus. Monthly games have been a part of Live for many years. It is more recently that the releases are getting worse and worse.

Just waiting on the ban for toxicity.

They already have raytracing on PC. It was made free and by fans originally. The code is already there, and there is official code they have made already. They're just taking their sweet time releasing it for new consoles.

The fact you call new consoles weak tells me you don't know much. They're extremely capable. Yes, ray-tracing is not their strongest aspect. But, there is easily great examples of far mo...

Dude. Old news. They barely retained Bungie staff. No key members of game development stayed behind. This is a statement blown out of proportion. Only a small handful of people stayed.

They only just like two years ago got one key member back

I can't begin to understand why none of these journalists understand that PSNow exists and is the competitor to GamePass.

PSNow was $60 and the only thing it lacked was day one exclusives. It even had more games and online access to those games with no extra sub. Which angers me when everyone mentions these type of services being great for cost savings but ignoring the biggest saver. But it never gets mentioned. I can see why they rebranded it and bundled it with Plus....
