They really think that a potentially biased or influential person means the ruling would benefit MS.. not how it works. You don't get to point out someone's bias and the judge just goes, "yeah I guess, that must mean we should ignore facts and proper review and the damages to the market when this entity would be purchased".
@Darth
Quit making things up as you go.
The analogs are in a natural position. When you just have your hand in a resting position and your thumb naturally extended it lines up with where a dualshock grip will be and where your thumb hits the analog. Just because they reused the same layout doesn't mean it sacrificed ergonomics to do so. The totally reinvented, and cancelled, PS3 controller did not alter the stick placement. The higher thumbstick make...
O great one. Prephesize the next mythology for us
For real. They need everything to be changed or else they are lazy
So why doesn't Phil say that they will keep it multiplatform? The actual quotes are that XBox "intends" and "wants" it to be multiplatform. They don't come out and say it because they don't want backlash or to get in trouble making an outright lie during the acqusition period.
I don't think people are thinking clearly in response to you.. Like you said. He specifically worded things as their "intent" and that their "want" to keep it multiplatform. There are no words that actually mean that they will keep it on PlayStation because of anything. This is just intentional misleading like always and the articles don't do their job at specifying the verbage and instead cut the quotes into pieces to say, for example. Bad journalists using quote:...
Yeah. In fact, why does anything not to do with the main purpose of the product organize anything anyways? Like my cars controls for heated seats, various air controls, passenger controls, etcetera don't need to be organized when I only briefly use them as I begin to drive and hardly adjust them as I'm travelling. I mean, I'm staring at the road and not the controls, right?
For how big the subscriber population is. It has already been stated that the service itself can't be making much, if anything, by itself, and that day 1 releases easily make it a loss. GamePass itself is only barely profitable at such a massive size. As soon as you throw day 1 releases into the mix, it obviously causes losses overall, but that doesn't make GamePass itself not profitable. We already knew that GamePass would be raising the price soon enough when games finally come. <...
@ the deflecting of Starfield being on PS or not..
Obviously it was going to come to the platform with majority sales. Quit playing that game and just accept the obvious.
Exactly. Some people really can't accept they were wrong to believe her. She got a great wage offering. Her union has a wage in place that they have evaluated her time is worth. She tried to say she was only getting paid that minimum amount for the game to mislead that she was getting paid that per session. She wanted six figures for 20 hours of work. She is not worth that. She has little voice acting experience or depth. She just happened to be in a lead role and tried to take advantage ...
This doesn't hinder product development at all. Nothing prevents MS Azure from being used on any platform. In fact, Sony uses Azure themselves because of the amount of reach these servers have. They installed PSNow servers into Azure stations years ago so that they have one partnership to implement servers around the world, rather than finding server hubs in each region one at a time. Azure is not typically wanted by non-XBox devs because they are mostly old servers anyways. When Azure wa...
Sony only did typical business in this market. They never went out and bought devs they aren't right for Buying an exclusive here or there happens in this market. So does content sometimes. But, you also have to realize there are things these companies don't directly buy exclusivity for. Sometimes they approach the devs asking for them to develop something for them. Such as Bloodborne. Sony had the idea, funded, and co-developed Bloodborne with FromSoftware. Games that would never hav...
@ActualEngineer
Hmmm, nope. No one gets confused on left and right. Your brain already does this for you. Asymmetrical controls work in an industrial environment for safety hazards such as low light conditions or reducing a bad habit of operating controls the wrong way. Such as trying both hands on the left hand side of equipment that purposely splits them apart by function. The grips will be shaped in a way to know it's on the left or right side. The seat you are in wi...
So the right analog stick is uncomfortable to you?
Seemed like a great name for a new title.. and then RPG was a little interesting but unsure how that would work unless you made your own fighter. And then mobile..
He got a lot of heat for it actually. It was a huge topic for a long portion of the games development.
@stark
That you're a hypocrite to join the fanboy war and talk down on fanboys. Then use the cliche "I own everything" response. It means nothing.
@Stark
Okay.. no population of people will be just like the other regardless of how often you see it. Don't judge fans of any one thing based off of fanboys or misinformation spreaders. The way you acted just sounds like a fanboy or drama seeker rather than someone interested in facts. Also, it doesn't matter what you own. It's your actions and attitude that represent you.
Controlled by Sony because of consumer decisions based off of console manufacturer decisions. Sony has been a consistently well managed company that delivers the goods regularly. The market reflects that.
Imagine if Amazon could just make a console, and then buy all of the market just because no one buys their console. It doesn't work that way. You don't bail out bad business by giving them the market or large portions of it.
XBox did very well back i...
@SurgicalMenace
Well I wouldn't say good. They simply came into a booming market at the exact right moment. Windows has notoriously had terrible OS's with anfew good ones in there. But, they just keep having strange issues and updates mess up features and drivers all the time. Their console OS has been more heavy weight than others in the past, not sure how bloated it is this gen. They're really not as talented as their revenue will tell.
