Umm. Almost no variety or options in load out. Titans feel weak. You feel taller, hardly more powerful. The parkour is poor, has little more effect then a traditional double jump or jetpack in other games that we've had for years. The actual movement and shooting is almost exactly like call of duty and the graphical similarities don't help that.

For the price, no. They are overpriced. They are like fancier Turtle Beach's.
Sorry, but I actually read the article. He mentions Astro's after talking about this headset being marketed towards the "ultimate audiophile". When he says this headset has 50mm drivers then he for whatever reason mentions that Astro's have 40mm, as if they are a good comparison for audiophiles. Astro's while good build quality and features, have bad microphones, and avera...
Don't bring up Astro's in an audiophile topic.
It sold 1 million on its first day in North America. It's going to do that again in Japan if it has enough supply, I think.
A lot of ports aren't done by the main development team.
@KingDadXVI
Exactly. Lag is not consistent at all and typically would have periods of slow-downs before a speed-up. It doesn't have a constant speed-up and then back to normal speed. Not to mention the speeder in the video was clearly reacting to real-time situations.
@svoulis
Tell me what games you play. None of the games I have played with dedicated servers had people skipping around unless the server had serious issues or if it was my own connection. Dedicated servers eliminate unfair advantages for those that lag, if it is a good server. This is why only LAN or dedicated servers are used for real competitive play.
Lag doesn't suffice for why these people are moving twice as fast as everyone else. They react to rea...
@svoulis
Player hosted and dedicated servers are far different.
Lag on a dedicated server almost always only shows up for the person lagging. For everyone else, they aren't skipping around. They'd just look like they don't know what they are doing or just don't do anything at all.
Lag on peer to peer/player hosted will show skipping and lagging to everyone, but, may not show it to the host.
You don't go o...
@FriedGoat
I completely agree with Titanfall. I could see it would be like that even before I got to play it.
I don't understand what you mean about The Order 1866's shooting mechanics. You need a lot more gameplay to witness people using it or to play it yourself before judging that. Most debut gameplay videos have clunky people playing them, for whatever reason.
I doubt it's lag because of the server or their connection. It looks like lag because the game isn't designed to keep up with the speed they are moving at so it doesn't look smooth. Dedicated servers don't normally have this lag issue.
@Irishguy95
It showed seamless transitions from cut-scene to game-play, outside environments, inside environments, cover system, shooting mechanics, hand to hand combat, variable routes, and destruction of the environment.
The quick-time events shown were fantastic. They were fast-paced and have multiple choices based on your own observation, like if you noticed the knife like the played did he grabbed that but instead if he pressed the button looking at the ...
RPG/JRPG's are always my favorite announcements.
If it is a massive title that would be confirmed next month then it is nothing we have seen yet. I am guessing it would be something we haven't had or heard much about in a while.
Also, noting that it says "finally confirmed" and "massive significance" means a lot of fans had requested and speculated about it for years, and that these titles played an important role in Playstation, l...
Aren't Microsoft the ones with the creative marketing team and all the PR talk? Sony pretty much had one PR and it was Shuhei Yoshida's Twitter. He was nice, funny, and had simple responses to so many important questions. Microsoft has tons of PR people and they kept fumbling statements, lying, and twisting things around any chance they got.
Even though, it was selling more then the 360, despite the 360's 16 month lead on the market? Its first year was a lot more then the 360's when it had to compete with launching with the Wii's insane launch hype. Every year the PS3 was outselling the 360 and closing the gap, despite the 360 having an established market already and the PS3 costing at least $100 more.
The argument isn't "it's better because it is selling more units". It is "it's selling more units because it is better". It is more promising, cheaper, more powerful, far more history in the game market, and every dev loves Sony.
All the blind ignorance and insults people are having towards Sony and Playstation is a completely insult to gaming. Modern gaming would be completely different without them.
@fenome
Wasn't there a big story about them considering the power brick an accessory? So, Microsoft didn't want customers sending the power brick to them in the return box for the console,they had to spend their own money to ship the power brick, even though the power brick could have been the issue, and much of the time people found out that it was the issue.
@Death
You mean you are paying full price for what the point of a PC is, without the lower cost games that a PC has? And you must have a 24-hour check-in on top of that? And you can't remove the hdd to replace it in case you run out of space on your mandatory DRM system? And the system is already so big I doubt anyone wants to have an external hdd taking up even more space.
Is it hard for you to switch discs? Why are you complaining when most games are g...
I wonder if they can have half-Mantle half-DirectX games. So, before a game is updated for complete Mantle support they can still release a few of the Mantle optimizations beforehand. Or, if a developer simply isn't experienced enough or has too low of a budget/amount of time, they could just Mantle, for example, only the lighting.
It has dynamic shadows. They are just blobbed.
You read the article? After you replied to me or before? You said I was the first to talk about Astro's when the article mentioned them first.
Right, I said Astro's have great features. And did you say their mic stands above most? I can't even fathom that you just said you are an "audiophile" when you say this about their mics, which tend to make your voice sound similar to the compressed and poor microphones on XBox Live. Really, do a comparison to com...
