@Cyclonus007
I don't think the PC crowd cares that much for Titanfall. Call of Duty isn't huge on PC and Titanfall lacks a serious amount of content to justify a $60 online only game on PC.. On Origin.
Honestly, Titanfall felt like what should be a F2P game on PC, except I find F2P games with way more content with more refined combat.
Why is this in the PS4 section? Because they snuck in the PS4 sales comment?
I've played it. The core gameplay is call of duty. The way the shooting feels and gaining kills/points to trigger a helicopter, air raid, etcetera, but in this case a mech. The only reasons it doesn't feel like Call of Duty is because it has far less game modes, weapons to use, and less players. It is even less strategy than Call of Duty. It's simply rush, kill, rush, kill, call a Titan, rush, kill.
The Azure cloud basically has no graphical-oriented hardware. You can get something pretty from a couple thousand stations, obviously, but the consumer is never going to get all of that access for themselves. A cloud demo is nothing to brag about when it's all quantity and no quality. Their cloud isn't about graphical effects and it is hardly something to brag about processing power. It's merely a giant cluster of standard servers. It's their misleading PR-tool.
@DooBBoyz
Wait. So a gamer can't play games? Only consoles? Not even multiple consoles/platforms at the same time? Darn, I gotta throw away a lot of consoles I clearly have more than one.
At least they were articles of screenshots related to unannounced content. The order screens we had gotten were a taste of the trailer the next day. This, however, is something not new, not NEWs, not anything but a highlight of something in Titanfall, which is something that has been known. It's certainly not like it's something new to gaming. StarHawk did this when you call for building drops, Call of Duty does it when a care package drops on top of someone. Is something being destro...
@headblackman
Are you trying to justify a company forcing you to pay more money for features you don't want(Kinect) and doesn't have cheap features out of the box that you pay expensive amounts for(wifi for the 360, rechargeable batteries, the overpriced 360 harddrives)? Where is that money going? To the same rehashed exclusives and ideas? They're just banking it. This is Microsoft. They've rehashed ideas and products for a decade just as long as they sell. Th...
Bro, I wasn't arguing with what the best controller ever made is. I was telling you the fact of why other companies had been making controllers designed around the 360 layout and that you are trying to tell everyone that almost everyone is making a 360-like controller on an article with nothing to do with the 360 and the controller isn't designed like a 360 controller, so why are you trying to tell everyone what the best controller is?
The way you worded your comment...
Right, that's why the article you are replying about isn't making a controller similar to it. Also, the 360 controller is almost an exact rip-off of the DreamCast controller. The only ones trying to copy the 360 controllers are the ones cashing in on the hype of MLG-hype induced gaming peripherals.
There are far more games on PC and 360.
The "best" version isn't determined by sales. That way of thinking is immature.
When there are already dozens of thousands of people playing then there is no difference then playing a game with a million players online. It's 6v6. There isn't some special difference from having a couple thousand more when a couple thousand is all it needs. In fact, if it gets too crowded servers will be less stable...
Well PS4 fans don't exactly have only one game to show excitement for(TitanFall). They have several, and The Order 1866 is the biggest one right now.
Also, comments don't show you how many people view something. It's also that time of day when people who have jobs don't have time to look at video games. It's common knowledge that PS has more older users and more games out right now. Clearly, they have an excuse not to be scoping out comments on N4G. They ...
@deSSy2724
Sony advertised 4D in the sense of time flowing, and the video game world changing over that time. They never said only the PS3 could do it.
They said the PS3 was capable of 120fps. Which it is. They never said games are going to make it a thing or that only PS3 could do it.
Uhh, I see no where of Sony bragging about 4k for PS3. At least it has a form of 4k, which they only ever said would be for still images.
Ma...
Gameplay like Call of Duty 4, with some changes.
Parkour worse than a few PS2 games had done.
Titans look a lot more fun then they actually are and are better used as a distraction.
Less weapon selection than just about every game.
Graphics about as good as last-gen visuals with fewer amounts of actual players on screen, but still worse-looking than the top-notch visual games of last-gen.
It feels like what should be a F2P game even though it is going ...
Seriously? They said the eye can't perceive a difference between 720p and 1080p below 50 inches. That is the biggest lie/misinformation I have ever heard about this topic. I see clear difference on my 17.3 inch laptop screen from 720p to 900p.
If the bosses knew crap about the tech and game industry then they wouldn't release this crap or let there employees spread this BS.
These images aren't very good. When they edit the 720p to be the same scale as 1080p for these comparisons it blurs some of the aliasing.
But, yes. 1080p is much more clear than 720p. It's harder to tell a difference between resolutions when you aren't viewing the actual graphics in person, and when these comparison images have blurred aliasing, other then the 1080p images.
Resolution is more then just the edges of objects. It is how acceptably ...
I remember Microsoft saying that X1 could play 4k games. Trying to mislead people to thinking it had good performance, but what they meant was it can, but not at playable frame-rates.
He didn't say the Japanese started this tradition. And this isn't something in the form of a sitcom.
In Japan this kind of thing is more common. It is a queue for the audience, since it can be disrespectful, and these conferences are more business-like over there.
@KingDadXVI
So, what makes them not good for AAA games? Because they aren't yet used in many games, let alone AAA games for you to experience it?
The nausea you are talking about has been mostly fixed with the new Oculus. It was due to input lag. Now people are reporting far less, if any, nausea. Great for a world that all you do is explore? That's just ignorance. Obviously if it improves on visuals, for those that like 3D, then it is better for expl...
@miDnightEr20C_SfF
And here comes someone only justifying someones complaints only when it's against the opposing brand of your favorite brand.
I'm not going to begin quoting your anti-Sony pro-MS biased bull crap.
