What if.. They bought the rights to Crash Bandicoot and it wasn't Sony after all like the rumors suggest. I would cry.
@DJStotty
Yes, you can. It's extremely present in the video. Hacks for duplicating items and such, no, except in very rare cases. Hacks for actual gameplay like speed and stopping the client from registering that you should be dead, are very, very much functional and there is proof in my post. If the dedicated servers fixed these issues then there wouldn't be need for all the anti-hack/cheat programs that MMO's tend to install with the game. MapleStory is a great ...
It's not known for sure if it fires bullets or just blanks. The point of it is that when it fires either one it creates a shockwave throughout the blade that, when striking an opponent and fired, will result in more damage.
But, the actual mechanics and implementations are out-dated. The parkour accomplishes nothing more than what a double jump has been for over a decade. I find it very clunky when I jump the same amount off of a wall every time and land further away from it then I want to. The mechs also aren't actually that great. It's mostly for show just like the parkour. Killing ridiculously simple AI to farm for Titans that the enemy always tends to get around the same time is dull, because it does...
@Doletskaya
"Speak for yourself" means you are saying things, that are your own opinion, and in this case you are pushing your opinion and saying everyone else thinks the way you do about single-player and multi-player.
In fact, when you asked -Foxtrot if he believes he thinks in a similar way as most other people it's pure hypocrisy, because you are trying to describe your own opinion as the whole populations preference. -Foxtrot more then cla...
I don't see anyone mentioning those games as exclusive, and some are F2P at least, while X1 has no free to play games to my knowledge.
You forgot to add Final Fantasy 14, but again it doesn't matter because everyone knows. When people are pointing out that Titanfall is on PC and 360 as well no one is saying that PS4 doesn't have the same kind of thing going for some of its games. But, at least some of the PC/PS4 games are more demanding on PC than Titanfall to ju...
@N64fan
It's 1080p in his definition.
He's trying to say it's 960x1080, period.
You're making a huge deal about p and i in resolutions.
Try and get rid of the insulting attitude. There aren't artifacts in Killzone Multiplayer, and if there are it isn't because it is interlaced.
Where are you looking? Everywhere I see it says 60fps a lot of the time with occasional dips only when a ...
@iceman06
They were supposed to be like them. But they weren't.
@Killzone619
It IS native 1080p. The image portrayed is full 1080. How it works is one half of the 1080p image is rendered every frame and the next frame it renders the second half image. The images are comb like, It renders one horizontal row of pixels and then it skips a row and renders another, skip one, renders one, and so on. So it is like 101010 the first frame and then 010101 the second and repeats. Both images are intertwined like two combs to make a full 1080p image....
@GamingTruth
It's sad when you call someone a nerd and point out the obvious.
Oh, what's that? What in his comment tells you that he plays PC? Was it when he said he's streamed on PC for two years? Nahh.
It doesn't drop 1 million pixels.
Killzone Shadowfall multiplayer renders a 1080p image, but it only renders one half every frame. The game isn't blurry because it is lower resolution, but because half the image is rendered one frame and the second half the next and they intertwine like two combs. It doesn't render halves like the left and right, but it renders one row, skips one horizontal row, renders, skips one, and so on. So, it's like 010101 for the firs...
@Abriael
It didn't have fast food places, touch screen smart phones, or soft drinks anything like what we had at the time those came out in Japan.
When it comes to game consoles they already have two giants in the industry and don't care for the generic competitive shooter genre that made XBox popular. They are out of touch with their main countries as it is. I doubt they know what Japan wants.
@k3rn3ll
You don't get it because you don't want to.
Playstation Now is built up of graphical hardware. MS Azure servers are not for graphics processing, not at all.
It isn't impossible for XBox to have graphics rendered over the cloud. It's just impossible for the Azure servers to do it without investing dozens or hundreds of their units to generate an image that one Playstation Now unit can do, because Playstation Now is m...
@k3rn3ll
What are you talking about? Sony's Gaikai/Playstation Now servers? Those servers are constructed with graphical hardware, similar to PS3's for graphics related functions. They are designed for game and graphical streaming. Azure is not. It is meant for standard server functions.
I'm not saying it is a hoax as in there are no servers or that the servers can't do something like this period. But, if they show you graphics related anythin...
Milo and Kate was a hoax, or at least the e3 demonstration was.

The cloud power is also a hoax. It isn't for graphical rendering. It is only CPU-based.

Do you think they are going to dedicate multiple clusters to each ind...
@nukeitall
Sony has the servers. Titanfall is a very simple game to host. Simple AI, Physics, and only 6v6. The matchmaking is still the same thing we've had for years. Nothing new, nothing difficult.
When you look at Sony's first party games and then look at Titanfall you can see why they didn't see passion, work, or creativity in it. That's why they didn't care about it before.
The way Killzone MP is done makes it almo...
@Germaximus
Yeah, it works well for level-scaling systems. But, I want to feel like I've progressed and I don't want the whimpy enemies of another area to be tougher than they should be. Leveling up traditionally was supposed to make only you stronger, not everyone else too. If people are going to use auto-leveling then they might as well just do away attribute systems and put it all into abilities.
I still don't see the source of where it says it isn't 1920x1080. Eurogamer said this and now this article uses that as a source, but where did Eurogamer find this out?
Either way, it is 1080p. 1080 horizontal pixels. Obviously, it isn't standard 1080p, though.
Also, It is full 1920x1080 resolution. It merely renders one half of the screen per frame.
Tiny monitor? Computers can plug into a TV. Actually, there are adapters for controller and cartridges for PC.
Not saying it's a better experience. But your points are one-sided.
Gimme dat PS4!
