The trick is to watch a video of a game you like on YouTube then go play that same game in real life. This way you'll start developing a baseline for how thin...

Graphics are not just the models, but the entire presentation. Ultimately the models and their details are not the problem here - I think, since I can barely see them - but how dark everything is. The darkness plus the motion blur plus the fog all over the game plus the overly bright candy colored special effects makes everything extremely hard to see and hard to discer...
People claiming this looks great are true fanatics or are somehow able to see through the NextGen Fog of War this game is not so cleverly implementing. Cuz ALL the footage has been so dark you can barely make out what it's actually happening, let alone make out most of the details in the models, world, etc. Godfall 2.0 over here but somehow worst.
I guess people see pretty flashy colors and instantly assume it MOST look aMaZeBaLlZ! or something or whatever.

Cloud Imperium Games almost made a giant blunder in letting Roberts be the face of the operation and in pushing back against their cult members. I see they have learned their lesson well.

I don't care for Nintendo, but Metroid Prime is one of the greatest game of all time. This and The Legened of Zelda are the only reason I still know Nintendo exists. So if you own a Switch you owe it to yourself to play and finish this classic.

I never said that. To me Naughty Dog took a tumble when the first Uncharted came out. I'm ok with cinematic if that's what some of these movie director types want to add to their games, but gameplay need to be front and center. Sadly Uncharted and especially The Last of Us leave way too many gameplay ideas on the table in lieu of the movie they want to tell instead.
