I don't care for Nintendo, but Metroid Prime is one of the greatest game of all time. This and The Legened of Zelda are the only reason I still know Nintendo exists. So if you own a Switch you owe it to yourself to play and finish this classic.
This IS the Demon's Souls of First Person Adventures, in that it is THAT damn good.

The point is that while it might be an outlier, maybe even a bug, being in the same company as the GTA Remastered is not where they should find themselves in. Especially since this is not their first game to use this engine.

Go look at Splinter Cell 2 - Jakarta, Indonesia - , Splinter Cell 3 - the first mission -, and Metal Gear Solid 2 - the tanker - if you want to see some pretty good rain effects. Then come back and look at Resi 4 Remake and realize just how bad and wrong the rain effect looks. As if the rain effect was just a screen overlay or something (I think it is during the gameplay sequences...)
Here we are, long years later, and the original Xbox and PS2 were doing better rain effec...
Arkane gave us some of the best single player games the last couple of generations but everything must come to an end at some point.
