Terms and conditions don't mean squat when MS reserves the right to change the terms and conditions when and how it sees fit.
Primaraly cloud based content = always online console = Xbox Live Gold subsciption required. MS's master plan to bring back the always online requirement.
Xbox Infinity...Infinite Possibilities.
XBone sounds and comes out better than Xbox One. They shouldn't have picked such a lame, unimagined name for the console to begin with. "Xbox Infinity-Infinite Possibilities" or "Xbox Fusion" would have been better choices, but like every other choice with this console they picked the wrong one.
So what, no worse than racist comments spewed online that I hear everyday. Too many people are too thin-skined. Besides, the a**hole with the swastika symbol makes a nice target.
Man, look at all that wasted space behind the Blu-Ray drive in the XBOne. No wonder the console is so big yet still uses a power brick.
I think you are missing the point. It's not so much if the sticks are symetrical or asymetrial, but where the stick placement is if its the primary mode of control. Dreamcast (and N64) may of had only one stick, but the placement of the stick was similar to Xbox controllers in placing them in a higher position whre your thumb rests naturally.

If the triggers on the DS weren't so poorly designed and hard to use they would be used as the primary buttons over R1/L1. The fact that the triggers aren't suitable in shooting games should point out one of the major faults of the DS.
Exactly, the Dualshock thumbstick layout is an archaic design going back to when the thumbsticks were put on as an afterthought. If Sony's thumbstick is placed in a more natural position than why didn't they put the d-pad there on the original PS1 controller? The fact that every other console with analogs doesn't use Sony's layout says a lot.
Like most normal people if I lay my hand down on a table in a relaxed state my thumb will face up and not off to a 90...
How is this surprising? PS4 is more powerful and cheaper with dedication to the reason for its existance...games. MS shot themselves in the foot with their Kinect fetish, spending so much time and effort on it and then jacking up the price of the console by putting it in every box.
I would think that any game that uses the cloud for improved graphics, as a boost to hardware specs the XBOne itself can't do, would be required to played online. MS is going to end up having to going back to their always online requirement, but they will say its game specific. As time goes on most games will require the cloud to be played. Personaly I would rather have games count on the localized hardware power of the console instead of having to connect to a server just for the game...
If MS is going to rely on the cloud for improved graphics, than the XBOne is going to be by default an always online/online required console. So much for them removing their mandatory online check-ins...you'll just have to be required to be online to play games that require "the power of the cloud"
Changing backgwound won't matter with all those boxes covering your screen. I wonder if MS still plans on selling premium backgrounds which you won't be able to see. Just like the latest 360 dashboard, premium backgrounds that you pay for are now pretty much worthless.
Only concern I have is Kinect being required for any of the UI navigation. I would like to know if you have to use Kinect for the examples given, such as exiting a game, or are there controller activated redundancies.
If MS plans to use "the power of the cloud" to supplement its weaker hardware specs relative to the PS4, than the XBOne will become an online required console. For those that hated the always online requirement of MS original plans, be wary of the cloud.
I buy game consoles to play games on, not to watch the crap on tv. Mostly commercials anyway. This next gen MS totaly lost me. Don't need another conduit for more crap tv coming into my home, cable already has that covered.
Ms is having a hard time explaining the architecture benefits of XBOne for the same reason they have a hard time explaining the benefits of Kinect...there aren't any.
In order to justify Kinect in every box and make people plug it in MS is going to want as much functionality shoehorned in as possible.
