You can't ask people to forget that history though. Buying any product at launch is either an act of gambling or an act of trust. If the PS3 were some new first-time system from someone we'd never heard of or had never set foot in the industry, then I probably would not have invested in it at launch for such a cost. Too much of a risk, and more than I can afford to gamble away on unproven technology and BD and games. But that WASN'T the case for anyone; Playstation's been around for 13 ye...
$8 for the map with it's scaleable modes, and new modifications of all of the other maps, and the dropships. The game shipped for $40 with 5 maps, so this technically sort of fits with the pricing scheme. I do think they could lower it by a buck or two, since I'm assuming all of this additional content isn't trying to recoup cost spent on the initial code for the game (i.e., the game's made, now they're just making new assets for it), but with all this other stuff being free, I still conside...
Muse has Knights of Cydonia in Guitar Hero 3. I hadn't considered that it might be by another artist though. Here's hoping...
*crosses fingers*
Dare I look. Once more do I get my hopes up and risk the feeling of dejection that I've experienced every week?
Looking, looking, looking...omg, it's THERE! The one song I've wanted in GH and RB: Hysteria by Muse

Oh please, please let this list pan out...
Those darn Ebayers. I'm hoping DLC can give me cheaper access to Bust A Groove and Tomba! 2 and Silent Bomber.
I don't think Sony commissions titles or tells the studios what to make. The developers sit around with their collective selves and say "hey, this would be fun," and then go and make that. Maybe none of them like making RPGs, outside of SOE.
If that's the impression you got from Sony, I think it was mostly misinterpretation. No one's claiming that we won't see a new Playstation until 2016. Rather, they're stating that they intend to still produce the consoles and release and license games for it until at least that time. It's no different than what's happening now. PS3 is currently in its second year of existence and slowly growing in numbers. The PS2 is in its eigth year and still selling well.
They basically...
I wonder if they have some submission site or forum we can make suggestions in. I'm still hoping every week that the next Rock Band DLC includes "Hysteria" by Muse. Drums, Bass, Lead...it's a great song for the game. Heck; anything by Muse. Stocholm Syndrome, Supermassive Black Holes, or my fave, Knights of Cydonia (already in GH3, I know).
If you don't want to traverse everywhere on foot, there is a virtual PSP that you can use to "teleport" yourself to any part of Home.
Yes; if someone invites you to their home, then you're allowed to go there and hang out and chat. I don't think they've released how many people can fit into one homespace at a time yet, but they've always implied that clan meetings could be held in one, and that you could meet there and then have everyone get online together, etc.
He states "Mix of split-screen, LAN, online, any combination you choose." Just before half-way through the walkthrough.
Agro should have won easily. I call shennanigans and suspect some sort of doping scandal.
I'm glad that things will continue progressing. Part of the fun of owning a console is looking back at the early days and being wowed by how far things have come. I remember when PS2 first launched and I was looking at SSX and Oni as amazing-looking/playing titles. How they pale in comparison later.
It's nice to see most developers saying "Ok, we're done crawling; time to start walking." That still leaves running and jogging down the line. I'm just psyched abou...
I've only played the demo out on PSN, but I'm really not feeling this game thus far. Maybe it appeals to die hard soccer fans, but SSX and NBA Street remaing the only EA Big titles that I really enjoy playing.
You can rent both Blu-Ray and HD-DVD from netflix, thankfully at no additional cost.
I agree, it would be cool. I still think the first one had the best video creation mode, but I think it's just cuz I liked the multicolored dancing blobs :P. What with all the copies of Rock Band out there, they could at least allow for live recordings of jam sessions. You've already got a mic, guitar, and drums after all. Add in the pseye like you mentioned, and there's a whole world of possibilities. And maybe we'll finally be rid of memory issues, although sampling at higher rates and...
So my top 2 didn't make it on any of their lists :( Not surprised though; my tastes typically stray from the norm.
1. Team Ico's 2 games
2. Heavy Rain
3. LBP
4. Echochrome
5. The Agency
6. Killzone 2
7. Rat Race
8. Resistance 2
9. InFamous
10.Hot Shots 5
And I'm wondering if MTV will ever release a new Music Generator. I've owned them all, and love the franchise (the remix-only-ness of the fourth ou...
Now that I've bought the game, I'm going to cross my fingers every week and hope for some Muse. I mean, seriously - Hysteria has all the drums, bass, and lead guitar you could possibly want for a group of friends.
Cool. I'll finally be picking up a copy of the game and some drums then.
Red Gatorade = Red
Purple Gatorade = Green
Takes ~128ounces.
Don't ask.
