Just one more minor point for the PS4: same standard power cord as the PS3, of which I have like half a dozen. So just like with my PS3s now, I can leave spare power cords plugged into the wall in different rooms, and don't have to dig back to the wall socket every time I want to move the console.
Xbone has some proprietary power plug. Are they just trying to stick it to the consumer with an overpriced power cable that can only be bought from them, or is it a clue to a po...
Includes a stand for vertical placement. Nice. (although I do really like the stand DreamGear made for the Slim 1.0)
The real question then is what types of DRM *capabilities* does the PS4 have?
If the Xbone registers each game with your account, it stands to reason that each physical disc has a unique identifier. Question is whether PS4 games have this capability.
Edit: "The DRM decision is going to have to be in the hands of the third parties, yeah, that’s not something we’re going to dictate or control or mandate or implement."
So if that'...
But help me out here... it looks medieval... pre-steam-power (though yeah... 1886 would be steam-power... but steampunk timelines are all kinds of wacky).
What would that be... Charcoal-punk? Horse-punk? Manure-punk? (just talking fuel sources... games looks very promising)
Mm-kay, buddy. I've apparently been paying closer attention than you have. Unless you can provide a reference for your claim, I'd advise you to do a little more reading before commenting further.
Analog outputs support HD via component, you know.
Isn't this kind of the same elitism that says "who the hell doesn't have internet to authenticate games?"
My living room TV and bedroom TV both have HDMI, but I actually get a lot of use out of the analog outputs on my PS3s for a number of different applications. I use component cables with my HD projector, as just *one* example... guess I've gotta get an HDMI/VGA converter now.
Oh well. Day 1 anyway.
I've got an LCD in my van that doesn't have HDMI. My 720p HD projector doesn't have HDMI. Sometimes I use the SD cables just to hook up audio to an external sound system or headphones. I used composite cables to hook two PS3s up to one TV and play them both with split-screen PiP. Some people may not have a TV with HDMI if they're at a friend's/relatives, at a vacation spot, etc. I do actually get a fair amount of use out of the analog outputs, so I find their absence disap...
At least if you want the camera there's a plug on the back.
Where the F did you get the idea that the Xbone lets you just share your entire library with anyone on your friends list?
Map packs will get a 30-day head start on the Xbone. That's it.
So what's MS's excuse?
I'm curious as to whether that will only apply to PS4, or PS3 as well.

Xbone was xpwned.
>>First thing they ask is whats in (all). Then the flyer or sales rep just lists its features. Which are fairly simple to understand and quite impressive.
Does the sales rep conveniently leave out "Cable box required for TV services, sold separately. Internet connection required for single-player games, sold separately. Live Gold account required for feature X, Y, and Z, sold separately. Ability to rent games, not included (yet?). Ability to freely lend/trade games...
These arguments are so pathetic...
"People bitching about price lined up to buy iPads."
"People bitching about 24-check in are always on the internet."
"People bitching about privacy upload their lives to Facebook."
(and my favorite) "People bitching about the Xbone will be lined up to buy one Day 1."
I wish I had some of these omniscient powers to see directly into the lives of every single pers...
Is Infamous Second Son coming out on the 3DS or something?
@TheSurg
With the "cheers" sign off, I'll take a guess that you're in the UK... though of course I could be mistaken.

If you think these things stop at the shoreline, you're beyond naive.

I love me some coffee, and I've got my own daily habit, but damn dude... 3-4 espresso-based drinks a day? Dial it back before you have a heart attack. ;)
