The Beta is better than expected IMO. Boards, graphics, gore, etc.. done very well. The dogs are a pain as they are relentless but I actually like them as a weapon. Got my key from the French site but my brother bought one on ebay for $12 so that's another option if desperate.

I really enjoyed the first one and am eagerly anticipating the sequel. As for the other BS going on in the comments, just play the game, enjoy it and stop whining about the stuff you have zero control over. AC1 was repetititve but it was also a very good gameplay experience. The visuals were pretty good too. I am certain that the developers have learned a great deal from the first one and AC2 will make great improvements because of that.
Heck I'm an archaeologist so waiting an additional 45 minutes to play the game isn't too big of a deal in the scheme of things. I am not a huge fan on the installs but it is what it is.
Burn em at the stake on public television. That'll deter pirates for a couple hours. It does suck for the company tho but I doubt it'll affect the bottom line too much. It's gonna be a huge seller.
I played the heck outta this game for two months but after I realized my wife was getting hotter and going out with girlfriends more often, I decided I'd better put the game aside forever. I don't know anyone who has played it and not become a complete addict. Now if he had a girl to play beside him, then he'd be set for life and she's out there...somewhere. He could borrow a couple Charlie Sheen "working moms" with the money he's dropping on accounts.
The game isn't a 10 but IMO it is a 9.8. Beta is awesome but control issues do appear on occasion. I score it higher than I normally would because it is a pretty cool experience. It can be repetitive (made up for by level design features) and the "wow" factor will wear off eventually. Since I enjoyed it as did my 9 and 6 yo kids. It's a 9.8 and that ain't too bad.

Just as I wrote on another topic. No game should ever get a score of 10/10. There has never been a perfect game and never will be. I have really enjoyed the LBP Beta but it does have a couple issues: excessive loading times and minor control issues. I'd score the Beta alone as a 9.8 but not a 10.
Pretty good score I'd say but after reading the review, it looked as if the score should be a little higher. The reviewer thoroughly enjoyed the experience but was really burned by the difficulty issue. That said I'm appreciate what seems like a honest score by this person. I hate games getting 10's. We all know that no game should ever receive that perfect score. None have ever been perfect but I have played a couple 9.9's.
Regardless, I pre-ordered from BB and will purchase on day 1. ...

I enjoyed the 360 version and would greatly welcome a sequel. The Wii version just sounds awful, especially if they've taken the obscene amount of zombies out of the equation. If the mall is near empty then what would be the point.
A battle? Don't kid yourself. You can't seriously compare Home to Xbox Live. Only diehard fanboys and those without access both consoles could consider such conversation. PSN is doing much more right than they did six months ago but MS has had a big head start and I doubt Sony will catch up with regards to online service.
That explains why I am so bad at FPS's. My reflexes are slowed by the lack of such a gene. Stupid parents.
I could care less about this game but judging by the comments there are many upset gamers out there. I hate that it gets delayed for those who care but I do like that MS is bringing the games to their console. If your a 360 fanboy then you eat stuff like this up. It adds fuel to the console war and MS gets free advertising via forums. That said I do wish they'd focus more on original IP's.
COD4 has the best multiplayer experience of all the current games with regards to shooters. Hopefully the developers of these great lineup of fall games followed their lead. Please sop comparing KZ2 to COD4, Gears or anything else. We've seen next to nothing about it and if gameplay sucks then it'll be right up there with Haze. Game was fantastic on nearly every level. Unfortunately for every Naughty Dog there are 10 other developers who are just lazy and push horrible product to gamers. Another good argument for cloning!
Soldiers and Marines need downtime too whether in war or not. You'd be amazed at the number of consoles residing in the desert. I know that there were at least a hundred 360's at Camp Anaconda when I was doing archaeology near there a couple years back. It is strange that you can only play with others in your region if this is indeed true. I've never traveled with my PS3, just the 360 so I know it works fine.
