Demo after launch is what I heard.
I hope Microsoft Game Studios aquires then instead of EA. The bad part of that is no more UBI games for Nintendo or Sony but it will be 1 massive move for microsoft. I know Microsoft has the cash for it, the exec just have to see if it's possible.
As of right now sony studios is about the same size as microsoft game studios and nintendo studios put together. A microsoft buyout of ubisoft would surely make microsoft the big gun in the industry, maybe even pissing off EA. Think about it...
Actually the game should go gold in a week or 2. So that Microsoft can certify it and then press and package the disc. So that they can ship it for Nov 8th in North America.
Yup, that was the problem, the demo had private games disabled. So people host a game and keep kicking people out until their friends got into the match. Obviously the full version has private matches but they should have put it in the demo.
Dead Rising, wouldn't be ported since they said the game was heavily optimized for the xbox 360 that it "wouldn't be same" on any other console. As with Lost Planet, it's still in development, but it appears that Microsoft has some kind of a deal, because it was quoted that the game is an exclusive to the xbox 360.
As with DMC4, I think it will be a Ps3 exclusive, since capcom needs to spread the love.
Wouldn't be fair if xbox 360 got everything would it;) . It...
I want to play this is bad. All I see is hands-on reviews and they all are positive. I want to see how the control system works and obviously the much talked about visuals.
Blu-ray has an extra level of priracy protection which is why Microsoft back out of supporting Blu-ray. Blu-ray doesn't allow for managed copying, like with hd-dvd, you can save your HD-DVD movie to a vista pc and even stream it to devices on the network like the xbox 360. Blu-ray doesn't have this feature which is the reason why HP converted from being exclusive to Blu-ray to supporting both.
What sony and others needs to know is, it's ok to protect your content but at one point y...
Game looks pretty good, you have to remember for online the graphics are usually toned down like in GRAW. This is to help prevent lag.
Anyways I love playing the spy on the demo.
Ya, pretty much since dev have had equal time developing for both consoles. It's far to compare Gears of War to RFOM.
Why doesn't Canada have one?
I kinda thought this, since Dead Rising sold really well and Capcom said they were interested in multi-platforming some of the new titles.
thats my biggest problem with the ps3, the position of the 2 sticks. My thumbs hit each other alot and it's feels akwards sometimes using them. The D-Pad is good for playing arcade type games since they are 4 way not 8 way like the x360. I also didn't like the fact the ps controller didn't have triggers which I loved on my xbox and xbox 360. It was hard playing driving games (ridge racer not included) with buttons.
Anyways I feel the xbox 360 is the best controller I have used...
Hey, I got my harddrive included. Also remember the xbox 360 launched last year, so for the price of a 20GB harddrive last year, I sure you can get a 60GB this year.
Also it's not like your getting the harddrive for free, you still have to buy a replacement ;).
FYI: the xbox 360 has the exact same harddrive it's just in a fancy case, so amatuers don't ruin the harddrive by droping it, breaking the pins or getting their finger prints on it.
It's makes swapping...
Its' 7 GB reversed for system use. IE. Game updates, system caching, user profiles and whatever microsoft needs. The OS is on a bios since the xbox 360 runs without a harddrive, something the ps3 can't do.
I'm pretty sure when swapping harddrives your going to have to use some sort of USB cable to plug the new harddrive in to transfer data, which I think the xbox 360 is doing.
Also in defence of the xbox 360, you can also use any harddrive with that to save music...
PS3 fan, well can't you say the same for UMD. Every PSP had a UMD player, yet that format failed. The reason is Blu-ray is not as open as HD-DVD. If Blu-ray is pirated then it's over for the ps3 since Blu-ray was sony's strong point against piracy since they are running linuix which is a modders best friend.
As for HD-DVD, it is just like DVD. You can buy a blank disc, burn whatever on it and it will play just like DVDs.
Also 100% of everyone that buys the HD-DV...
I don't get it.
Oh, almost forgot about the good old trusty electroshocker that doubles as a whistler to attrach nearby baddies. I remember shooting those into water soaked roades in Splinter Cell to see all the baddies get shocked.
Ya, I'm sure that's exactly why they put that in and not because they know nothing about OS and decided to take the cheapest way out.
Microsoft doesn't really care, since even if money is lost, they still are building up their install base. Think about it, people that buy xbox 360 are more inclined to upgrade to windows vista and maybe even get the Zune and other microsoft products since they all work with each other. So 1 billion lost on the xbox 360 is nothing if they can make 5 times that on other things as a result of the $1 billion.
Also alot of this money is from buying developers such as Lion Head Studios a...
Well, Phil I have been playing next gen for about an year now, and oh don't tell anyone my dirty secret shhh "They are on DVDs".
Honestly if sony has filled 25GB disc at launch there is something honestly wrong with sony. Gears of War is a 2nd Gen title for the xbox 360 and it is one of the best looking games and it is even on a single disc.
Well Microsoft is a software company, which kind of ruins sony's claim of needing blu-ray for games. Software only gets ...
