True HD?
Both consoles can output natively in 1080p if that what the developer chooses, the xbox 360 (I beleive the ps3 aswell) can scale a game written for any native resolution upto 1080p
I think what the author failed to understand was that not everyone would connect to xbox live, roughly 50% are not connected which would benefit from this system. It has an HDMI so HD ready right out the box, plus you get a wireless controller and a 256 MB memory card which is a great step up from the core. Basically this is the box for you if you don't plan on going onto live or want a second system.

If microsoft was the only console maker-> be playing tons of FPS (not that it's bad)

well 2K can also take down the level of detail in the game to get it to run at 60 fps, they way to tell until both games are released.

Well your entitled to your opinion but what you are basing this on is a 1 minute trailer released by Bungie and the 2 to 3 minute trailer by Sony. To me Killzone has that murky look that resistance has, like that greyscale look, though it fits the theme of the game nicely, I feel that Halo 3 has a more crisp colour palette. Also Bungie talked alot about the scale of the game, which I doubt we are going to see until we get out hands on the game after launch.

With so many shooters coming to the xbox 360 this fall (COD 4, Halo 3, Splinter Cell, BioShock and Mass Effect) it makes sense to put off some of the shooter games until next year so there is less competition, which would result in better sales for the titles.
why do you want "True HD DTS HD and LPCM" if not game supports it, thats only for HD-DVD
