I think Howard Stinger and the other Sony boys gave a run down to Ken and his playstation friends. What sony built is not ready for mass market. It's too expensive considering the competition and with the xbox 360 offering the samething but for $200 less.

What the hell, first Sony makes fun of microsoft for having limited backwards compatibility. Now Sony announces the ps3 can't even upscale exisiting titles and even perform anti-aliasing on them like the xbox 360.
This is what happens when you put a mini ps2 into the ps3 to do emulation.
How are you suppose to get a screen, use a digital camera. What I can say is both systems look the same. From a gaming perception the xbox 360 is the best value and does everything the ps3 does but for $200 cheaper.
If you want a movie device aswell then the ps3 is the better value. However it all boils down to the games. Get the system that has the better games for you. Want RPG get a ps3, want action games get an xbox 360.
Your forgetting HD-DVD is not needed. It's a gaming machine, you buy it to play games not watch movies.

Imagine if they released HDMI it would have to be a cable which would easily cost $80. Now this would bring confusion since people would think you need the cable to watch HD-DVD, which isn't true.

Well it takes 1 year to plan the console, 3 years to research and develop the components and then 1 year to market and test the console. That gives us 5 years. 2010 nov is when it's coming.
The next xbox would be released 5 or 6 years after xbox 360. So late 2010 ot 2011. Think about it in 5 years, there is a huge advancement in technology.

Blu-ray burners can't burn movies, only data on the disc for now. Pretty much half done so they can say they were first. It targeted at corporations that need to back up data, but if you need to back up that much data your better off using servers instead.
