Well if you dont have a harddrive then you have no interest in downloads in the first place. I highly doubt someone with no harddrive would cough up and pay for movies via digital distrubution.

They cant support loseless because they dont have HDMI. The MS engineer said the system can decode and output it but they dont have the cables yet to send it out. So we just have to wait for HDMI cable to be released.

I stayed away from the sony tvs today at futureshop. They were having a huge sony sale. I was like its ok, and walked away with a 37inch Toshiba Regza LCD HDTV

I think basically there is a blue diode shortage with sony needing them for ps3 and microsoft needing them for the HD-DVD drives.
I think the Blu-ray group basically said they'll hold off so sony can get all the blue diodes. Basically blu-rays fate rests with sony and the ps3. PS3 flops then so does blu-ray.
Microsoft, who knows what they did but their drives are sold out and so they have supply troubles as well with the HD-DVD drive.

The xbox 1 did some games in 720p, since the wii is a bit more powerful and effiecent it should be able to do it aswell.
It would be the samething with the ps3. Maybe this is why sony isn't shipping components with their consoles. Sony the jig is up, I suspect another recall. There is no excuse they work on Samsung, Toshiba and HP and other other HDTV manufactuers except SOny.
Screw 20 vs 20, its not fun with too much people.
