Maybe that brand of Sony TV does not accept 1080p over component. Samsung, HP, Toshiba and the other brands are fine though.

How is removing the modding the hackers offence. Thats what microsoft wanted in the first place isn't it. No mods, so if you want to use your xbox 360 please remove the mods.

So running it 8 hours a day would cost $160/year. So basically with the xbox 360 you can have a gold account and still pay less per year.

I was just about to read it and saw the date. Was curious if the RSX downgrade rumor was true or not. I think it's true since sony has been very quite about it's specs since it won't shut up about the cells.

HDMI will be out later next year. The reason it not out now is that they don't want customers to think they need HDMI to use the HD-DVD add-on, which is true.
I going to pick mine up early december when I can just walk in and pick the drive up. Hopefully the King Kong deal is still happeneing.
