I played over 200 bucks worth of games in 2 months with game. It has already paid for itself and then some for a year. 180 bucks is only three new games afterall, and GOLD is included at that price. The value is insane, and no amount of downplay can change that.
Its the best value period, promotion or not.

It is safe to say that every Bethesda game dating all the way back to gen 7 will end up on gamepass by the end of summer. This aquisition was a win before new games even got release dates.
As long as publishers don't get greedy and block your steam library like some already have, that is great news!

-The two above games release on PS due to contract.
-ESO and other service games that exist on both platforms will be supported with future new content.
-All new games outside of the above (hence the word "some") will be XBox/PC only. This includes Elder Scrolls, Starfield, Fallout, DOOM, etc.

And even that will change for the new consoles as the hardware gets pushed. These 60 fps games are cross gen after all.
But 30 fps is not really an issue for me in any game...so long as it is a STABLE 30 fps. Having said that, 60 fps is always a better option if available. You really do feel the difference right away. That still doesn't make a stable 30 fps horrible though.

I too feel like that is what they mean by "remake", but unfortunately they did not advertise it as such. That is why people are divided on it, because they expected one thing and got another.
Honestly they should just shut it down altogether, and keep putting all the value in gamepass.
Lets face it, regardless of why online play should be free, it is never going to happen on console. So what they should do is drop XBL Gold to like 15-20 bucks a month, and put all the live benefits into gamepass. Keep gamepass as the premium service and cheapen live to be a low cost entry for online play woth no extra perks.

Horizon Forbidden West is rumored to be delayed, but they are TRYING to be done by holiday.

Not everything is confirmed, but enough evidence is a cause for concern. Sony has always announced games and delayed them in order to build hype, this is nothing new.

I wouldn't call Switch empty in the first half. I just finished Immortals Fenix Rising (fall last year I know, but for context), and my current forcast is Persona 5 Strikers, Bravely 2, Monstsr Hunter Rise, Mario Golf, Disgaea 6, Ys IX, Trails of Cold Steel 4, and SS HD. I am pretty busy with Switch through July, and all the other two have to offer me (of interest) is RE8, Back for Blood, and Ratchet. Calling the Switch's line up empty is a massive hyp...
The timed deal was confirmed for 2 years. If PC is already available at launch, that can only mean Series X is coming eventually.
Still 2 years is more than enough time for PS5 to benefit from the deal.
