Having multiple consoles does not change your clear bias. By your logic with Splatoon 3, TLoU2 must be DLC disguised as a game as well. It plays very much like the first after all. Hell may as well chalk Demon Souls up to that list as well. Uncharted has been copying itself since early PS3.
That sounds pretty ridiculous doesn't it? Well that is how you sound to a non Nintendo hater because you are basically saying the same thing.

Ok, I will humor you. New games from Nintendo developers or published and funded by Nintendo coming right up.
Breath of the Wild (cross gen, but day and date new at release)
Splatoon 2
Mario Odyssey
Xenoblade 2
Mario Plus Rabbids
ARMs
Xenoblade Torna (stand alone game, unless you want to say Miles Morales is DLC...then you can call this DLC)
Fire Emblem Warriors
Age of ...

Your disagrees should be proof enough that you are full of shit. I am not going to sit here and compile a list for you when a simple google search will get the job done.

Not sure if you just suck at trolling or if you are just willfully ignorant. Either way it is pathetic, but at least I can laugh at you. XD
@Orchard
The Switch is not losing any 3rd party games that already were not coming. In fact, if anything it is getting more 3rd party exclusives if 2021's line up is anything to go by. Just look at MH Rise, SMTV, Bayo 3, MH Stories 2, Resident Evil Outrage, etc.
And as far as Japan goes, Switch is the main platform for them over there. Japanese devs outside of the likes of SE and Capcom have never really focused on using the power of these consoles...
I agree, at best it will be a "Switch home" with a performance boost for dynamic 4k or 60 fps. It makes sense because you have the Lite as a dedicated handheld, the regular Switch as a hybrid, then the Switch home for better performance amd tied to a TV. But I doubt even that will come into fruition before a full blown Switch 2 (my guess is 2023-24).
3rd party support is not suffering any more than it ever did, and is actually getting more and more of it. There...
@Mulando
I think in most cases it is profitable. Look at a game like The Medium. Decent game, but not many would pay full price for it. Getting a check up front for day 1 on gamepass likely helped them out.
Also in the case of Control, it is the base version a year later. This was definitely a win for Remedy and 505 games, as it is just extra profit at this point.
And they wait till less than a month before the next gen update to announce that Ultimate will be free for PS Plus, and stack those sales from before that on top of the check that they got from Sony to make it happen (as well as from MS to put the base game on gamepass), and yeah you have a pretty solid profit.
Especially since Ultimate is also playable on last gen, so this is not a pre order situation that you can just cancel like some people seemed to think.
Not even an hour.
I have had mine since launch, and no controller issues.
@SlothLord
Because I already had a PS4 Pro and Horizon Forbidden West is cross gen. My X1 was the old VCR looking version, so the jump to the Series X was much more massive than the jump to PS5 would have been compared to the Pro. Plus gamepass had a lot more to offer with enhanced games at minimal cost, that I missed out on earlier in the gen.
I will get my PS5 when Ragnarok comes out, I am in no rush and refuse to give scalpers a dime.
You seem to heavily overestimate the number of people willing to invest in a "decent" PC. And even less are willing to bother with building one to keep costs as low as possible.
When looking at the average consumer, what you are getting for the cost of a Series X is about enough to run a game like Genshin Impact at medium settings and 60 fps. I know enough people who are in this boat to confirm this.
So the while "gamepass is on PC" ...
One of their listed positives is actually a negative...
"XSX is really just selling to hardcore fabs right now"
Proof? I mean I have been a PS primary gamer from PS2 through PS4, and I got a Series X on launch day with the intent to get a PS5 when Ragnarok eventually drops. You know why?
Gamepass, and the fact that I can play Horizon Forbidden West on my PS4 Pro.
Getting a Series X is not settling by any means. Both are great consoles that offer great experiences.
*Laughs in Division 2*
I agree, though I wouldn't say great. It had pacing issues, and Maw should have been utilized more, but it was a very enjoyable experience overall. I would say "decent" game.
I beat it without any grinding at all. There is no incentive to even bother with boosters lol.
The game is easy. You gain levels like crazy, so the "340" area people are scared of os jist bloated. At level 200 I could easily do thay content, and I was level 290ish by the time I got to the final area. No grinding, no boosters.
But that is not to say that another problem does not exist. The game is too drawn put. I finished it at about the 9...
You are trying to suggest that a AA 3rd party studio is capable of showing off the power of the XSX by comparing it to a AAA 1st party studio from Sony?
LMFAO Your adgenda couldn't be more clear. It is like you are not even trying.
It is possible that the first part could represent the single player portion.
