I actually played 15 hours of LoU2 as I bought it day 1, got bored, and never bothered to finish it. All they did was expand on the first game and polish it up, there was nothing innovative about the gameplay. It was not bad, quite good in fact. But it was nothing new either and relied too heavily on a generic revenge plot to push the game forward. That logic of, "you don't worship a game I like means you never played it" is pathetic.
Mario games have more variety in gameplay between 3D releases than The Last of Us and Uncharted do with their follow ups. God of War was cut and paste too till the last one, then they changed it up (just like Zelda did). Also Sony forced players to buy the full price version of Miles Morales just to play the next gen version of Spiderman.
Now don't get me wrong, Horizon was a wonderful new IP and the new Ratchet and Clank looks dope. But Splatoon plays like no other ...
The majority of their ads have beeb centered around adults using the system, and most people that use it are recorded to be over the age of 18.
Nice try, maybe look up the definition of everyone and realize that everyone =/= for kids if the art style of their 1st party games has you confused.
As an adult who owns all three consoles, the Switch gets the most playtime. That is why the demographic is mainly for adults with busy lives. Several studies have shown that to be true, the hybrid nature is just too convenient.
Both sets of joycons I have had since launch still work great. They started to drift once last year, but I cleaned them with 99% isopropyl alcohol and they have been like new ever since.

The point went over your head. Value is determined by the market demand, not a vocal minority of upset forum comments. If the game is going to sell at least double what the original did at 60 dollars, then Nintendo has no reason to "take notes". If it bombs due to the 60 dollar tag (it won't), then one could say Nintendo should take notes.
Again I am not saying I agree with the price. I feel it should be 40 dollars...buuuuuut....
Strikers has an 85 on metacritic. It will take than a crappy review from edge to kill my hype for this game.
I need these...
Why would Nintendo need to take notes? SSHD will sell more than double what it did on Wii.
Not that I agree with the price, but its true.
We had several smaller directs spread across last year, and several games dropped out of nowhere. Just because this is the first 50 minute direct in over a year does not mean that nothing has happened since then.
The Switch keeps dominating sales for a reason after all. And I am not saying you cannot have a negative opinion. I just find it funny that even though their output of NEW games is much higher than Sony or MS in the same timeframe (over 4 years), I find it funny...
When God of War Ragnarok is on MS consoles, I will believe MS will put Bethesda games on PS that did not have a pre existing contract.
Ah right, I guess it was lol.
Obvious troll is obvious. Nintendo puts out more NEW first party games through dev or publishing deals at a pace that is far above Sony or MS without even including ports.
Breath of the Wild (cross gen, but day and date new at release)
Splatoon 2
Mario Odyssey
Xenoblade 2
Mario Plus Rabbids
ARMs
Xenoblade Torna (stand alone game, unless you want to say Miles Morales is DLC...then you can call this DLC)
Fire Emb...
This direct was hardly representative of what is coming for Switch this year. Some of the other confirmes games for 2021 that were not in the direct are...
Monster Hunter Rise
Monster Hunter Stories 2
SMTV
SMT Nocturne
Persona 5 Scramble
Disgaea 6
Ys IX
Rune Factory 5
Title is a bit misleading, as these games a comimg up in the next few months but were not in ghe direct.
They also revamped the controls to work with a traditional controller. Something many claimed would keep SS from ever being ported due to being built around motion controls and changing the control scheme would be too difficult.
Now all of a sudden I guess that isn't a big deal?
Translation of this comment
"I am a Sony fanboy and anything that MS or Nintendo does is horrible, and any success in their methods makes me angry"
I think they just wanted an older protagonist, like Shulk, who isn't sporting a wierd outfit.
I think it has to do with the fact that 3rd party additions used to be extremely rare, but in Smash Ultimate they seem to have a stronger focus than ever. People see it as hope that their favorite character might be able to be added, even if it isn't a Nintendo character.
The same thing that justified Uncharted 2, 3, and 4 despite being largely the same gameplay wise. Different levels and plot for single player across the board.
@Zeldafan64
It is basically Nintendo's Final Fantasy, where each game is its own story and they are not directly connected...kind of.
Anyone that saw how Xenoblade 2 ends will know that there is indeed a connection to 1 and 2 in an ambiguous way, and X seems to be on another planet entirely. Whether or not Monolith decides to expand on that as a main narrative or leave it as a sort of canonical easter egg has yet to be seen.
In an...
