Just out of curiosity, is there a particular character you're referring to?
I'm trying to think of a single character that didn't sound American in Heavy Rain, and I'm coming up blank.
E3 is the time of the year when gamers are bombarded with game trailers, announcements, live gameplay, and new hardware. It's euphoric. Gaming news trickles in during most of the year. During E3, it's an absolute downpour.
When all the news articles on this site come in, what do you think the major source will be? An E3 conference.
To me it sounds like you're just sore because you won't get to watch the conferences, and you'll have to get ...
You realize that Sony intentionally revealed all those games, right? They weren't leaks. Going into the biggest video game show in the world, who likely has more to worry about: the company that's pompous enough to announce huge games, games big enough to be the big announcements of past E3s, in the weeks leading up to the conference, or the company that's dead quiet in the wake of these announcements? You tell me.
This might be fairly optimistic of me, but the majority of the titles announced (with the exception of LBP2) are releasing in 2011. Perhaps Sony wants to announce the rest of their 2010 lineup at E3. That way they can show more detailed stuff and it won't be too far away from release. Unfortunately, if that's the case, we'll probably get our fair share of Move games. But that was expected anyway, wasn't it?
Right now, the second half of 2010 looks pretty barre...
All the important stuff is in English, just keep watching the vid.
Mario 64 was awesome. I'm a big fan of 3D Mario, much more than 2D Mario. (Though, I admit, Mario 64 is the only one I've played, the Galaxy games look just as awesome though).
Apparently it's a Japanese ad for a reason. It says "PS4: Now Testing", which means exactly how it sounds. The 3D for PS3 is a test for what the PS4 could be like. Basically they're saying the PS3's 3D is a glimpse at the future.
As for the ambiguity, it's viral marketing, it's supposed to get people talking about it. And it's worked. Sony isn't announcing a PS4, not this year, anyway.
The Locusts are wiping out humanity, how can they be victims?

He looks early 20s to me. I think "teenager" is stretching it a bit. Old cole was about the same age.
I don't know about you, but I've seen in game screens (as have most people here).
Better than the fully customizable Portable Ops controls? Seriously, does no one even check these settings?
Portable Ops controls are completely customizable. It's sad that you gave up on it because of something so easily fixed.
Sadly, it doesn't sound like Peace Walker has fully customizable controls. There goes my L action button.
Am I crazy to think Matthew Fox would make a good Drake? Maybe it's the stubble.
Why does it have to be realistic? The PS3 is able to render Drake in real time. Are you saying a computer farm can't manage to render a higher res version of the same model? Think Advent Children.
So if they're not that good, why in the world do you love them? Sounds like you need to sort out your thought processes or something.
The Uncharted series is one of my favorite game franchises alongside Metal Gear Solid and God of War. It's ridiculous to say that they aren't good games.
Well I can say I'm already loving this E3 and it hasn't even started yet. Sony is getting tons of marketing and hype, hardly seems like a mistake to me.
What alternate reality? This is the same Cole. Basically they're erasing the old cole from the history books and saying he looked like this guy all along. But they aren't erasing the events. Everything that happened in the first game happened. Read the scans, it's pretty clear that this game's story picks up on the events of the first game.
Then don't play it. If the developer is confident enough to give us options, let them. Some people like to play with their friends and other people. Did multiplayer ruin Uncharted 2? No.
While I'm all for continuity, I'll admit the actual in game model for Cole is much better than the concept art. His pants are still a little weird, and I'm usually against V-necks on guys, but I can live with him. It'll be weird thinking of him as "Cole", but he's a lot less metro in the actual game.
It's a comic book. Just think of it as another artist's interpretation of the character. Peter Parker has not always looked the same, after ...
Motorstorm 3 has been given an estimated 2011 release by Evolution Studios. ;-)
