"It's a standard platformer with guns. "
Would you kindly point out another game like it, please? With similar gameplay, obviously. And don't say tomb raider, the shooting mechanics aren't even close.
No other game has the same level of interactive set pieces (barring GOWIII), or the level of storytelling of Uncharted 2. Not to mention the brilliant characters, and fantastic acting. Uncharted 2 is also the first game (and possibly the fi...
Probably right next to Crash Bandicoot.
Naughty Dog doesn't exactly have a history of revisiting franchises after establishing a new one.
I'd rather have another Uncharted, personally, but this gen is definitely lacking in the platforming department, which is rather sad.
You can download on PC or PS3 and transfer it over, if you like. Those both have background downloading.
You can also download it over night.
That's funny, because I actually prefer him to Conan - who was funny a lot less of the time, and annoying a lot more.
Then again, no one comes close to the greatness of Johnny Carson.
Oh, and he's on a lot earlier than 1 where I live. I guess that means he has a show after all, doesn't it?
So if I write a "hello, world" program, I have to get MS's permission or pay them to let people use it?
The reason it's not on other devices is because it's a selling point for Sony Vaio laptops.
Edit: It seems OpenGL already covered the bases.
New Cole vs. Old Cole! Team Deathmatch!
GTAIV and Red Dead Redemption both did multiplayer and Deathmatch. If they can, inFamous could, too. Though I don't think they should.
Listen carefully, that part actually occurred before the original inFamous. He even points out that EVEN Zeke did some climbing.
Can you imagine if Zeke was Player 2's character? All he would be doing is flipping switches and needing protection from enemies. If there's coop (and I doubt there will be), Zeke won't be the partner. And if he is, it'll be lame.
It also said Family Friendly Games, and I wouldn't exactly call inFamous "family friendly".
They just used their generic "Only Does" scroll. When we start to see actual ads for this game, it'll say things like "Ionic Tornadoes" and "Karma System". Don't put too much stock into this trailer's tag.
Ever heard of a thing called continuity?
If you didn't notice, they stuck with the new voice actor. Old New Cole is probably going to be a hybrid of what they were trying to achieve. Probably a more appealing personality, and yet still the same character. It's a compromise and it's probably what's best for the series.
He didn't do too much homework, apparently:
"We do not know much about the levels however there will be a lot arctic levels"
I've actually heard the contrary (though I don't remember where). Herman Hulst actually said there aren't many arctic levels, but the environment is a huge contrast to Killzone 2 and the level they chose shows off the variety they are trying to achieve, which is why they chose to demo it.
Did you complete the first level? Tanks and AI everywhere at the end.
Guerilla has stated that their levels are 10 times bigger now and more open, just for people like you.
"Because lol'd was used in the proper way."
Really? Was it?
"[Laughed out loud] that many disagrees already?"
At best that's a fragment.
It's news. If you don't care, don't read it. 90% of news doesn't directly affect the viewer/reader, does that mean it shouldn't be reported? People like to be informed.
Personally, I like to know when companies I give money to wrongfully mistreat their employees. In the future, I will likely think twice about buying their products. Isn't that relevance enough?
I mean, while you're at it, you could say the same thing about the OJ Si...
Well of course Microsoft did this. They couldn't let Sony have anime breasts as console exclusives, now could they? ;-)

"One of the big differences in trying to make the game more personal and alive is that we wanted to make full on mo-capped cut scenes like you see in a lot of awesome games these days that bring you in with great cinematography. That meant we had to find an actor who could do both the voice and the motion and the emotion to carry Cole. The guy we had from the first game was a voice over actor and we needed to have someone who had the full package, so we recast him with this actor called ...
I'm fairly certain that half the players in every online match are Helghast. Did you mean single player?
And I guess the rest of these photos are from GT5 too? Top Gear fooled the world and just played a videogame.

Seriously, check out the pics without motion blur. It's unquestionably real life.
Care to explain the dents and dirt on the grill then? Or how about the car being a Porsche (confirmed to not be in GT5)? There's also no aliasing whatsoever.
Come on people, indeed.
Why are you so angry? It's just a website. We're all gamers here.
I have no problem admitting that Bungie makes high-quality games, but again, a lot of what you're saying comes down to personal preference. You're not going to sway anybody.
The fact is, you're on a page dedicated to an open-world third-person electric superhero PS3 game and you're spouting off about a linear first-person sci-fi X360 shooter. It's irrelevant. What ma...
I just want to ask Arnon why he thought Trey4Lyfe's post was unreadable. The only spelling mistake I see is "ss" instead of "is". I mean, sure, there's a few commas missing, but is that all it takes to berate someone's typing nowadays?
Granted, it wasn't the most intellectually stimulating post, but the typing itself was perfectly acceptable for internet communication. I understand that you were going for an insult, but it seems like you we...
