I believe it's Wipeout HD in the US.
"Sure, anything you buy with the exclusive discounts, many of the exclusive extras/add-ons, the premium avatars/dynamic themes, and of course the free copy of LBP (if you sign up in time;-) are all yours to keep for good.
The games that you get within the service are available for you to keep and use as long as you are a member."
Will people stop crying now? The only stuff you lose are the games you were given for free (as part of the subscription)...
"And if Infamous 2 can hold a candle to Crackdown 2, we’ll eat our hats."
Did they really just say that? Hmm, I wonder which game they're going to review with a higher score?
Personally, I'd pick the sequel to one of the best superhero games I've ever played over the worst superhero game I've ever played. But I suppose that's why it's an opinion.
I still don't think that such a remark was called for, cons...
Wow. that was misleading. I clicked expecting a trailer. This is a live demo from the press conference. In no way is this a trailer.
Microsoft? Seriously?
I think Nintendo had the better conference, but Sony's was great, too. If Sony hadn't announced some of those games beforehand, I think their conference would have been the better of the two.
Still, great showings from Nintendo and Sony. Hopefully Microsoft will have more to show next year.
You don't think the short "dusk" has anything to do with it being a 2 minute demo? Like maybe they sped up the whole Day/Night cycle or something?
If you click the link, you can see that by buying a full-year subscription, you'll get an extra 3 months free.
Umm.. What? In a private chat, only those that are actually in the chat can hear each other. So you'll hear LESS conversations while playing online. Unless you were talking about your friends, in which case, you don't have to accept their invitations.
Which is great, because Time Crisis is one of the Move launch games. ;-)
I think this either points to the game not being ready yet, or it simply doesn't exist. There was also a notable absence of The Last Guardian and Agent.
Uh Oh? I would kind of expect brand new hardware to look better than 5 year old hardware.
I'm much less excited now. I was hoping for a brand new story. Instead we just get another Nintendo port ala Twin Snakes. 3D is cool, but it would be better with a new story.
Half the games have a 2011 release date. What are you talking about?
I think the Wii Party game and Mario Sports Mix were the downsides. The Zelda demo wasn't perfect (I kept thinking how awesome it would be with Move), but it was far from bad. It's still a new Zelda.
False. Donkey Kong Country is awesome. A reboot is welcome. You can complain about Mario Sports Mix though, that's a special kind of milking.
While I agree (The Donkey Kong Country games are my favorite side-scrollers of all time), you do know that the Metal Gear Solid announcement was for the 3DS, not the Wii, right?
I don't think you'll be disappointed. They're my favorite platformers, bar none. What can I say? I have a thing for stealth and heists.
I feel like they should take a note from MGS Rising and actually cut the stormtroopers in half. I mean, it's a lightsaber for Pete's sake.
What's in bold is actual PR quotes. What's not is the author making fun of Kinect. It's not that hard to comprehend. Wanque was not an actual name in consideration, just the author poking fun.
"It's not something we've specifically tackled for LBP2 (yet), but one of the QA guys here has actually rebuilt a working Pop-It using the direct control devices in LBP2. In other words, he managed to make a create-in-gameplay mode, from scratch, using direct control and emitters. The possibilities of meta-game creation like that are quite mind-boggling..."
... blew my mind. Can you imagine the possibilities?
With ice cream? I mean, sure I wouldn't complain, but it's kind of hard to eat while you're gaming. Don't you think? Perhaps you meant a la carte? ;-)
