Hey guess what? I'd rather play Killzone 2 any day of my life than Halo 3. OMG a differing opinion! Say it ain't so!

Stating an opinion as fact doesn't make it any more factual. The fact is, people have different preferences.

Personally, I'll be playing the game that doesn't have flying sword, out of map, killer traffic cone, etc. glitches. ;-)

Don't forget Twisted Metal. 4 player split screen, online, or both.

Twisted Metal will have 4 player split screen. You can thank David Jaffe.

Now this is just personal preference, but I honestly can't see how anyone can think Crackdown and inFamous are on par in terms of quality. Even with all of inFamous's flaws, inFamous just seems like a vastly superior game to me.

I honestly don't understand the appeal of Crackdown. Heck, I played the Crackdown 2 demo and I still don't understand the appeal. To me, the shooting mechanics are horrible, the story is non-existent, and the graphics are ugly (and I t...

That's ignorance and nostalgia. There's always been multiple consoles and "console wars".

I'm still not happy about all the Xbox games I missed out on last generation because I didn't own one. Most notably KOTOR I & II.

I would at least watch or read up on the story if I were you. The twist at the end of the first one is EPIC and the overall story has a lot to do with the sequel.

Would you kindly point me to a quote where Naughty Dog said their game is the best looking game ever? Or Guerilla Games for that matter?

I'd be very interested in seeing a quote from either of those devs that isn't humble.

P.S. Your Crysis avatar kinda screams bias on this one...

I believe he was trying to call it a flop, because, apparently, the 2 million the first one sold just weren't enough to warrant a sequel. Oh wait.

You're honestly only going to have one set of 3D glasses? Come on. People are going to have a few sets of glasses for 3D movies alone. Video games are typically more solitary experiences than movies, so it shouldn't be an issue.

But if you want your large group of friends to watch you play something, just turn the option off and play it normally. It's common sense. Though, my bet is, you'd probably pass the glasses around to everyone first (so they can see ho...

Umm... Gears of War 3?

You also get to keep LBP as part of your sign up bonus. Just sayin'.

You remind me of those people that complained when Uncharted 2's multiplayer was announced. Apparently, it was going to detract from the single player experience somehow. Seems a bit silly in retrospect, doesn't it?

I'm all for Move in hardcore games, because, honestly, that's the only time I'd ever use Move. If a company is going to do motion controls, I'd prefer it if they support the games I like to play. As long as motion controls aren't requir...

I believe the "reload complaint" he was referring to has to do with emptying a clip while looking down the sights. Which, I admit, can be fairly annoying. If you're looking down the sights and shooting, when you run out of ammo, you're character won't reload until you completely exit the sights. Sometimes you can get stuck in this stuttering movement where the game is trying to reload but is interrupted by the sights animation. It tends to happen in the Alternate 2 metho...

That's odd. George Lucas is very liberal when it comes to using his IP. You can take a look at all the Star Wars fan films available on the internet. As long as you don't make money off it, Lucasfilm doesn't care.

I'm surprised that doesn't extend to LucasArts and videogame levels. Perhaps that was before they requested to be "whitelisted"?

Umm... I hate to burst your bubble, but Crysis 2 and Rage are on PS3, too, genius.

People who like using a mouse when they browse the internet. Move is far more intuitive for this kind of thing.

""" Sometime in the beginning of the Sony Conference (I’ll have to re-stream the conference and add this in later—sorry), but someone spoke about Hideo Kojima, as Kojimia-san. As most nerds are familiar with, the –san suffix is the Japanese language equivalent of “mister”. The introduction immediately struck me as odd, as it had in past press conferences where English-speaking Sony reps refer to Japanese developers this way.

I would love to know what they’re th...

Does continuity and a suspicion of disbelief mean nothing to you? I could probably adjust to the new Cole, but it's kind of difficult given that this game's story is heavily connected to the first game.

I have a feeling a lot of people will try to go the evil route just to make him look less like a frat boy.

5709d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

I'm fairly certain that it is. I think they just have all the inFamous 2 pictures together. The first 5 are just new pictures that they added. The "news" is those concept art pieces.

There were jokes in Saving Private Ryan, too, and I don't remember anyone complaining that they didn't fit. Humor is an important storytelling tool, believe it or not.

And God forbid Nolan North from making a living trying to provide for his family. How much do you think video game voice actors get paid, anyway?
