720p is HD. X360 and PS3 are HD consoles, and most games are HD games. Sony and MS didn't lie, you just misinterpreted.
Don't get your hopes up for fully destructible environments, that's just a rumor that's gotten out of hand. Guerilla has said that the environments will be more destructible, though.

The PSP has near PS2 level graphics. I expect the PSP2 to have better than Xbox graphics. Possibly much better.
Based on the quote, it sounded like he was more referring to a PSP 4000 or N2000 (GO v2), than a full on PSP2. The article seems to put words in his mouth.

I really hope it's classic Pong. No updated graphics (besides increased resolution, obviously). Just because I think it would be awesome to play Pong on my HDTV with my PS3. There's just awesome irony in that. And who doesn't want to take Pong on the go?
That said, if it's more than a dollar, it's a rip-off.
I might be interested in a reboot, too, but not as much as the original.

Here's a good video comparing the two. Killzone still blows me away every time I play it. Gears 2, on the other hand, seems at about the same level as a lot multiplatform games I've played this gen. It was a fun game, but it never really impressed me.
That's cool. Personally, I'm looking forward to KZ3 more because I find it more fun, but I had a lot of fun playing Gears 2, so Gears 3 shouldn't disappoint.
Though I will admit that I'm most excited for LBP2. Every time I think about that game my head is filled with endless level ideas.
BC2 JUST came out. How in the world can they show anything for BC3 already?
If BC3 makes an appearance on GTTV, I will likely never buy a Battlefield game again. Even Call of Duty had a longer grace period and that has multiple dev teams.

A lot of them were creative, though the one about the PS3 not liking to do many things doesn't seem to fit, in my opinion. Neither does the accessory part, really, unless you're talking about Move and 3D.
Read the interview. No deferred anything. The entire engine is "forward" now. And I thought Uncharted 2's AA was fantastic. Not as good as MLAA, but better than most games.
