If you'd read anything at all about this game, you'd know this takes place at least couple years after the first and continues in a chronological fashion.
Beautiful? Really?
I'd say it's rather obvious, but to answer your question, yes it is still a Sandbox game.
Every car will have a cockpit view. Standard car interiors just won't be painstakingly recreated like they are for the Premium cars. You'll probably end up with Chevy skins, Ford Skins, etc.
Even the rough translation from Google Translate makes this pretty damn apparent.
I've never been a huge Twisted Metal fan. I remember watching people play them on PS1 and didn't think it looked that great. But so far what they've shown at E3 looks like tons and tons of fun. Maybe one of the most fun games online that I've ever seen.
It will probably sell about the same as Warhawk or MAG, honestly. And I don't really see it getting the usual Sony first party reviews. But I DO see it having a huge, devoted cult following. This is the kin...
Keep in mind that all the environments are completely destructible (and quite spectacular - check the IGN video with the water tower), not to mention massive. In one of the videos I watched they blew out the wall of a movie theater and drove in. The theater was packed with people and there was a movie on the screen.
It's like Bad Company 2 on a much larger, more detailed scale. There's also a huge amount of verticality involved. Take into account all the players and m...
The only difference in buttons (besides Start, Select, etc.) is that the analogue stick and D-Pad are in the opposite place. And then there's the touch screen.
So what about the control layout do you like better? The 3DS has a lot of advantages over the PSP, but the layout doesn't seem to be one of them, imo.
You haven't been keeping up with things, have you?
The 3DS is the next generation of the DS (Think Gameboy>Gameboy Color>Gameboy Advanced). The 3DS will have graphics on par with the Gamecube (Once people adjust to the hardware, of course).
That said, even the original DS has better than PS1 graphics, so I'm guessing you're just trolling.
I believe on IGN Live that they just said it will release worldwide in November. So I wouldn't expect a difference of more than a couple weeks for any territory.
I'll have to wait for it to be uploaded for me to double check that.
Yes but look at the opposite cliff face and tell me the PS2's rocks look better. Also, the 3DS's bridge is made up of individual boards, where as the PS2 is just one large surface with a 3 board-wide texture. AA and Effects-wise, PS2 wins. But it looks like 3DS wins in terms of environments.
Still, I'm not impressed. It seems Nintendo has gotten in the habit of being a generation behind everyone else graphically. The DS is in the N64 range, the PSP is in the Dream...
This may be a silly question, but how exactly would an injured wrist affect the performance of a soccer player?
Just to clarify: LBP is for SCEE regions (Europe) and Wipeout HD goes to SCEA regions (NA).
Did you watch Sony's keynote? Move support for Killzone 3, Resident Evil, LBP2, and SOCOM 4. Then you have Sorcery, which is a full-fledged game.
Sony is targeting both hardcore and casuals. Sony knows better than to isolate one of their markets. Microsoft, on the other hand, does not.
It was stated on more than one official Sony website in the PSN+ section. Can you fault them for reporting it? It was Sony's fault for mistakenly posting information they weren't ready to announce.
Only one person in your party has to have PSN+ for it to work, according to the leak.
Zelda: OoT 3D?! O__O
It's going to be very difficult for me to find excuses not to buy the 3DS as soon as it comes out. I usually wait for a price-drop or two. Announce Kirby and Donkey Kong Country for the handheld and I'm sold.
Thanks hazbaz, that was awesome.
How did Sony take away free voice chat? Every feature that regular PSN members had pre-PSN+ is still available to regular PSN members. X game chat is a premium service that's part of PSN+.
Whether it costs Sony anything or not is irrelevant. Sony is a business. Are you telling me it didn't cost Sony R&D to research and implement X game chat? Because we know they've been working on it for 4 years now. Don't like it? Then don't pay for it. Pretend PSN+ d...
It can also be great when you have a party of gamers all playing the same game but don't want to hear or be heard by everyone else playing the game.
Humor is a very common thing to add in any storytelling medium. It breaks the tension and lets the audience relax a bit. The Lord of the Rings movies were great at this, as was the original Star Wars. Just because Guerilla Games is adding humor, it doesn't mean Killzone is going to become Uncharted.
Infamous, on the other hand, might be another story...
