I just realized I've been playing Table Tennis the wrong way for years!

Actually, I think there's only one mech per level. Same with jetpack. It's a tug of war to see who controls the mech, which could turn the tide of the battle.

What did you expect it to look like? Avatar?

Nice cover up. If you were being sarcastic, why did you put "well at least jak and daxter"?

It's based on a book written in 1933, so it can't be a rip-off of Uncharted. Inspired by? Maybe. Uncharted 2 could have inspired them to make a game based on the original story of Shangri La (Shambala).

But let's not pretend Naughty Dog wasn't inspired by Lost Horizon, too.

In fact, George Lucas probably got inspiration for Indiana Jones from Lost Horizon, whether directly or indirectly, I don't know, but Indiana Jones was definitely based...

The bumper buttons on the 360 controller aren't that great. Sometimes in games, you have to have a finger on the bumber and trigger at the same time(R1 & R2), this works fine on 360. But most of the time you just move your index finger between the two to press either, this doesn't work so well. Because the controller is trying so hard to be ergonomic, I've found that they're not as easy to reach as they should be.

I have no trouble holding either controll...

Ever since Sony released the original DualShock on the Playstation, it's become the de facto layout for console controllers. Even the Wii has a mimic version in the Classic Controller.

That says a lot about the foresight and genius of the engineers in the early days of PlayStation. The symbols are great for distinguishing Sony's brand from others, thus making finding the right button much easier (though some of my Xbox friends have a lot of trouble with "X")...

It's a moot point. MOOT.

Anyway, if what you're saying about dark visuals is true, it should be interesting to see how Killzone 3's darker levels look in 3D. Because, other than the snow levels we've seen, that's clearly going to be a very dark game.

But if I was guessing, I would say you wouldn&#...

So, essentially, you don't want to shell out the money for it, therefore, no one should be able to enjoy it? I'm basing this off your "3D is a waste" statement.

I understand not wanting to buy a new 3DTV and all the accessories (I just bought a regular HDTV myself last year, so I'll be waiting also). What I don't understand are the people against 3D itself. It's an option, not a requirement. So why deprive those who already have a 3DTV or are goi...

I believe this links to a Halo Reach spoiler. Use Caution. I saw "Noble Team" and closed it.

Now I'm kind of a noob to the whole Halo storyline, but is there really that much to spoil? Doesn't Reach get blown up or something, and everyone dies except MC, who escapes and goes on to be Teh Awesome?

I swear there's already a book on the Fall of Reach. I know Bungie has changed a few things, but I'm pretty sure all the major points are going to be pretty close.

Spoiling games sucks, no doubt about it. The same with spoiling anything, real...

My Battlefield experience has taught me that tanks suck. They're way too over powered. In the exoskeleton and the jetpack, the player is visible, so they can be easily taken out. The same can't be said for a tank.

While I wouldn't say it was one of the most memorable experiences of my life, I certainly enjoyed MW2's short campaign. Much more than COD4's, actually.

While hot (for a video game character), Chloe got on my nerves. She was way too self-centered sometimes.

Team Elena! Haha.

Original Cole's voice may have seemed forced and laughable at times, but man could he deliver an epic line when had to. The monologue after the final boss, for example. The "I'll be ready" line got me sooo pumped - I was ready to play inFamous 2 right then and there.

Sorry, that was just my impression from your post.

If you want to use a controller and a camera (for... head tracking, voice recognition?), you can use the PSEye and a Dualshock. You're trying to make a comparison that isn't really valid. You can't use Move and a Dualshock at the same time (unless you're using it in place of the Nav controller) because you'll never need both at the same time. They facilitate the exact same functions, they just do them diff...

Definitive.

You're probably right. But the Wii loses track of the controller if it's not pointed at the TV and can cause issues. Move doesn't have this issue, so I don't think the default dead zones are going to be as frustrating. Customizable settings are definitely encouraged though.

5647d ago 1 agree1 disagreeView comment

Move IS the controller. Why would you need a DualShock? You can use one instead of a Nav controller if you're cheap, but it's not necessary.

It sounds like you're just trolling to me. If you're already using a regular controller, why in the world would you want to use Kinect?
